If true this is what worries me. Going from OL & DL being 1A & 1B to WR & CB’s is not a championship formula. Now if it starts like this and then the LOS catches up great! I do lean towards this being our reality for September. However if we get to November and December and that’s still the case I believe we have a short playoff run and issues that will lower our ceiling drastically.

OL and DL were 1A and 1B because of overall talent. That talent was lost along the LOS while WR and CB retained and added talent through the portal/recruiting. Where does OSU's 2024 OL and DL rank behind their WRs? How about UGA's 2023 OL and DL against their LB and DBs? We'll be fine as long as both sides of the ball play complimentary football.

I think there will be some drop off there because of what we’re replacing but we will still have a top dline, has more questions but i think we will be at least really good but the full season will tell how good

The way you framed lacks some context, of course the rooms we are returning and acquiring elite talent will be better. Doesn’t mean those other rooms will be bad, scott & moten will dominate this year and we have high level talent on the edge

And i think getting mensah keeps the ceiling high. Last year we had a top3 defense and probably a top20 offense, this year i expect a top3 offense and a top12 defense. We’ll see what matchups we get in the playoffs

DL could end up the best unit on the team. I believe we have five former 5 stars on the DL and only one other on the rest of the team. I know that rating H.S. players is far from a perfect science. But I think Wilson, Lightfoot, Blount, and Scott have shown themselves to be very good players and everyone was raving about Hayden before his injury. And Moten is the best of all our DL.

No guarantees, but I think the DL will be good. OL I'm a bit concerned about.

We have multiple Day 1 and Day 2 draft choices on both sides of the ball in the skill groups. We have multiple Day 1 choices in the D-Line. All that the O-Line lacks is experience, and even there, we have three players with decent starting experience. All of them are coached by the best O-Line-tandem in college football.

Talk about turning a fly into an elephant...
