Secondary is going to be Nasty

He can get better but I know some others have pointed this out, but it’s how we are being coached. I’m sure you saw those Heatherman interviews so I’m with you

Yea how we swarm to ball is the first thing heatherman emphasized and part of the dna and what coaches like Saban mention when they watch film..

Just hoping he steps it up as he will be asked to be more of leader being a returning starter.. He has talent, just need to be a lil more in control

My opinion from what I have been told. And if that’s true I would be very happy about my team.

Last year got the same responses about Meaidoe who was arguably our best lineman. I’m willing to watch and let it play out

Taking nothing away from from Mesidor as he had an outstanding year— but Bain was getting double teamed most the time he had free reign
Regarding O’conoor we can agree to disagree I suppose— he got exposed during the CfP run if you ask me

Agreed. We had the vets with Scott and Thomas now it’s time for these young guys to step up.

It’s not a concern for me I’m just interested to see how it plays out. Who steps up as the QB back there? Keionte and Thomas were so good. Sorta the same thing on the DL we lose Bain and Mesi but there’s plenty of talent…just who steps up and takes the leadership roles

Coaches have to rep tracking and tackling against PEOPLE not the wheel or stationary bags. Much like Harley Race and your finish, ball carriers move.

I think people miss how much "lining guys up" dudes like K Scott and Bain were doing

Scott was sleeping at the indoor and bringing young guys like Mali and Upshaw prior to camp and connecting with EVERYONE on the team, ND game 1, he got hand shake with all the offensive guys from QB on down..

Just a tremendous guy and player, mind you we will have someone play the nickle and do well (he missed games at end of season and we still got good production from position, tfls, ints, sacks) but you cannot even begin to quantify because come playoff time he is getting sack/fumble against tamu, pick 6 against OSU, etc.

The narrative has turned on him, especially from the social media sphere who dont even know players names or whats going on.. Obviously the last game leaves bad taste in mouth, and I definitely wouldnt say he will be best but he was solid majority of year..

I watched every game last year and attended many. But none of us have seen a game this year that I know of. Again from what I have been told my opinion.

If I’m worn I will own up to it. If I’m right we will all be happy. But I’m not basing this year off last year.

It’s hard to get the last game out of our minds and I get that. Most people didn’t even notice him until then but all of a sudden he had a bad year.

Yeah he reminded me of a defensive version of Cam. Just literally DGAF about anything other than football and being great

Like you were saying, talent is one thing, who steps up? With our coaches I’m not too worried there. Mario demands that type. Excited to see who steps up and also great to have guys like Moten/Toure/Chase etc

I think we're going to be at at a minimum the same level. We will have a nasty Secondary.

I think same level is realistic… Love the experience and depth cat corner. But K.Scott played that position like no other and Thomas wasn't far behind.
