MEGA SEC ….SEC….SEC…

I hate the SEC> But I do think the report of its demise is a bit premature this year. UGA should be really good this year and probably gives them the best shot of winning a natty this year.

It’s no coincidence that the SEC rose the power simultaneously with Miami’s demise in the past, and now that things have reversed back to the order they should be
Yea Miami rising destroys a bunch of rosters in the SEc and Big10. People have never tied it together but it is so obvious, and they still do not realize it. I think in secret they do know it, that is why they always try to change the rules to hurt UM. It will never be spoken of on the networks though.

I loved this quote from Ed O. This, my friends, is why the SEC will fail.:

Former LSU coach Ed Orgeron, on the Bussin’ With The Boys podcast in December, said the biggest difference in the SEC was the creation of NIL. “Back then, we used to walk through the back door with the cash,” Orgeron said. “Now, we just gotta walk through the front door with the cash.”

What gets me is some of these SEC coaches, including Saban, and some non-SEC coaches like Dabo, crying and moaning about the new era of college football.

It’s really simple, not that complicated. They’re whining and moaning because they don’t have an unfair advantage anymore

Now everybody can pay without worrying about the NCAA playing favorites, letting the SEC slide, and punishing schools like Miami for doing 1% of what the SEC was doing.

And in case anyone forgets, these ****ers (SEC/NCAA cabal) tried to put us out of business. Even though they hobbled us, they knew we still represented a threat, as this past season has shown, and they wanted to squash that.

Sorry, you cheating *******, rabbit’s got the gun now. Happy Easter, mother****ers. 🐇

This 1000%, to hear both football and now basketball coaches complaining about the transfer portal and NIL is nothing short of comical.
Everyone knew the SEC was handing out bags, but like a lot of the fraud we see today, too many people were making money off of it for anything to be done about it.
If Miami can have another great season like LY, we could be set up for some significant long-term success. The reality is, kids like Miami for a lot of different reasons, and now that the field is level, well...

It’s a small detail, however it looms within the whole story: Saban retired after the 2023 season not in 2022. Michigan beat Alabama in an overtime game!

I believe the dominance of the SEC within the last twenty years was overstated; however, it was within the last 20 not 25. Saban’s win in 2003 didn’t end a slide because a slide is presuming that the SEC was higher than the rest prior to FSU’s 1999 championship.

Talking about a three-year streak being dire for SEC fans is ahistorical. When UF won in 2006, that was the first title they had won in a decade, and second title of all time.

They won three times in the 90s (‘98 Tennessee, ‘96 UF, ‘92 Alabama). Before the Alabama ring, they hadn’t won a title since UGA in 1980.

Prior to UGA’s and Bama’s unanimous championship in ‘79 win, the SEC’s championships all came from Alabama; and they claimed a bunch of them when Bama lost a game in the season so they weren’t even real; a Buncha mf-ing split fake championships cuz the other team was oftentimes undefeated.

& the further you get from ‘79, you'll just see segregation and split champions.

THIS is why i do not support the narratives of oh, the ACC just had Clemson at the top while everyone was bad, and now Miami replaced them. It still sucks.

All the media talking points distort what really occurred; before and during the last two decades.

The general premise is obviously correct; the SEC is not as dominant as they were; and they were never as dominant as they say they were.

No duh. It was easy to see coming. I understand NIL was part of it but really, it was Saban. Even if the two were tied together in the collapse.
