Most parents refer to their children as their kids well into adulthood, that doesn’t mean they are kids.

When you’re twenty-something years old you are an adult, not a kid. You may be immature, but that doesn’t make you any less of an adult. People can remain immature through their entire lives.

What a stupid *** comment. They can smoke, drink, vote, drive, ****, and fight legally. All while making **** good money.

None of these people being mentioned or referred to are kids to anyone but their parents.

You may be able to make that argument for freshmen (it wouldn’t hold up) but not for these people.

If you saw any of these people you would not refer to them as “kids” unless you’re some old lady who calls everyone under the age of 45 a kid.

I don't agree. This generation is different. Every worked with a bunch of fresh graduates in corporate setting? They may be legally adults, but most of them have never had a job, haven't gotten off their parents cell phone bill/insurance, or know how to communicate.

Times are changing, lol.

The rules have to be applied at some point. Is it unfair to these players. Maybe. Life’s not always fair.

But at some point everyone has to agree to follow the same set of rules. Honestly, what’s stopping a player from suing over the 5 for 5 rule?

Again, being immature does not make a person any less of an adult. There are people in their forties still living in their parents house and sponging off them, that doesn’t make them a kid. Being a poor excuse for an adult is still an adult.

The issue at this point has nothing to do with the players.

The issue is every single conference has said they shouldn't be able to play, so nobody is touching these guys, but one team has gone rogue and decided to play them anyway. That's a completely unfair situation.

It's like if one team in the NFL said, "f*** the draft, just come play for me", and a judge ruled that was ok and then that team just played those players during the season.

We also have to ask what the he** is wrong with our legal system that people can just shop judges.

This.

If what I read is accurate, the courthouse where this hearing was held is only a few minutes from campus and the judge is up for reelection. Of course he’s going to rule in favor of LSU. It’s absolutely absurd that this is allowed.

The judge in the Trinidad Chambliss case was taking pictures with Chambliss and getting him to autograph stuff after the trial. There’s no chance that guy was going to rule against Chambliss getting another year.

It read more like fiction than anything else.

Hasn't even coach a single game yet and Lane is already in the middle of a **** storm. Even the SEC is against him.

They're not kids. They're signing 6-7 figure contracts. They may be immature but it all comes down to how they're raised and if they're held to high standards.

We've got 18 and 19 year old Marines responsible for $100,000,000 aircraft and weapons systems. 3-block war **** and its consequences.
