Season ticket holders and people going to away games

I can't wait to go to sunlife and cheer for the team. I enjoy going to the games...but it did a lot of soul searching when I was deployed and promised myself I would make it a point to go watch them if I made it out of the middle east alive.

Dont agree: In the offseason- Al stinks, if i dont go to a game - he stinks & when I go to a game - he stinks. My logic - Al isnt a very good head coach no matter what. I enjoyed watching Brad K play last year, same for Duke and Perryman - why would I let Al get in the way of that enjoyment?

Once again, unless you are a booster with massive dollars to contribute to the school, Miami doesnt really care if you go to the game or not. If the school ever cared about the fans attending the game then I could understand that argument of "not supporting Al". But even when we were winning - the admin (Tad Foote) didnt care - I wish that was the case but it never has mattered

Post of the year, extremely well written. Stop with the "slurper" bull****, we love the team, and see no reason to not show our support to them. Has nothing to do with Golden.

I've said it before and I will say it again and that's that I think 70,000 fans in a stadium chanting FIRE GOLDEN makes a bigger impression then us griping on this thread. Although I do enjoy bi+ching on here lmao

Don't let Alfredo or anyone stop you from going to away games. Those are prime opportunities to cheat on your wives or girlfriends and/or shave a decade off your real age to some drunk college sloot at 2am. Some things are bigger than the current state of this program, gentlemen. Just buy your ticket from the home school or StubHub.

Attending games and supporting the team only when they are good is the classic definition of a bandwagon fan.
Things will change soon enough. And it wont be because your withholding your usual $10 Cane club donation.

First time since 1980 I will not attend 1 game home or away. Since the Admin and BOT don't care why should I. I have been with this program during the ups and the downs. I am not going to attack or put down fans that want to go to the games. Me personally, I can not spend my hard earned money or time on this crap. The day Golden gets fired I will be on the phone and renew my season tixs. The only way I can show my displeasure is by not supporting the athletic department. I love going to games. Sometimes leave the game having lost that loving feeling.

There's a song in there somewhere.
 
I'm not going to a single game this year, home or away. When I canceled my season tickets, it marked the first time my family hasn't had season tickets since the early 50s. But, what's wrong with going to an away game if you bought tickets on stubhub or through the opposing schools' ticket office? That's in no way financially supporting UM. If it's that you don't want people supporting a Golden led team in the stands, even on the road, what if people show up in UM shirts with bags on their heads? Either way, we're about to have baby #2 in a couple of weeks, so I'm definitely not going out of my way to pay $$ for this **** show.
 
Enjoyable to continue to see that a bad football coach continues to have people mind****ed into hating what they claim to love.

Why not just fly a banner? That will get him fired.
