Was at the game. The linebackers were legitimately horrendous. For a room that I’ve been personally very hyped up on, you cannot win the ACC with linebacker play like we watched tonight.

Bad recognitions. Bad run fits. Bad tackling.

The secondary is who we thought they were — average at best. But the linebackers were easily the most disappointing unit of the game for me and that includes an OL which left much to be desired.

The DL got got several times, but the linebackers simply did not do their jobs.

On top of that, Guidry was bad with the alignment of the defense, we got outnumbered on far too many runs up the middle or even on the outside

Hard to find more than a handful of guys that didn’t stink last night. It’s a testament we were able
to win.
We have some big games where that effort will get us beat.
Gonna be interesting how the coaches and team respond.

Barrow came back in for the last play which tells me he should be ok.

Harris got injured in USF with a cleat to the gut or ab strain. Not sure if same thing aggravated again. I think he will be ok.

Alston it didn’t look good. Soft tissue issue. Going to see more Malik Bryant and I guess maybe Blount next Saturday. Maybe Bain will be back.

Also Francis limped off so he is beat up. Just an all out battle for both teams. Old school slugfest that all of America was watching. Twitter was going crazy with famous ppl commenting on the game. Everyone had eyes on that game.

That was the old Wes showing up. He looked lost again. He is having to ask Popo every play here he is supposed to go. Clearly the kid struggles with the mental side of the game.

Problem is who do you put in instead. Next up is Popo and chase smith who lacks explosion after injuries. Time to give Pruitt more snaps at 210lbs?

Ya I was going to go back and watch the tape but I remember seeing barrow come back for the final few plays which was huge. Did alston not return? I know harris didnt...mauigoa fought thru it the whole game. Really want rivers and bain back next week. Don't trust bell against better competition

In person it was the most important play of the game considering the effort it took for him to make that play. We would have been down 17 otherwise. He came from the opposite side of the field. Haven’t seen a video to give him the necessary credit. Anyone have it?
