Without the NCAA's assistance, when games are played straight up, we own them. That being said, nobody has made any excuses for our coaching as it was appalling the past 6 years. FSU only wins when they pull kids that were born to be Canes, due to an NCAA investigation and probationary period. They use that moment in time to load up on the ones that got away… No big deal. lol every once in a while, a blind squirrel finds a nut. It's almost over.
This for me is a movie i've seen before. I know whats coming and i'm waiting with baited breath. The []_[] will rise, the country will love to hate us and we will dominate like no other. When we win, it's different. It's a Cane thing

They never complain about UM not being at full strength, since that's the only time they thrive against us. Why in the world should I care if their QB is out?

fwiw it's never been about sanctions and scholarships, it's about them getting the kids that were born to be Canes. Cook should be here right now. His brother is a Cane. ( obviously we all know about his grandmother ) We should have kermit and Mathew Thomas…. We lose kids that want to be Canes, but make business decisions to play elsewhere. They go everyplace BUT Miami. Our kids GIVE fsu a title they never should have… EVER

Bad parallel. Davis actually suffered through real sanctions. Folden suffered through his own moaning about the possibility of sanctions.

FSU beat us under Folden because they recruited better, and that had nothing to do with sanctions. Had Folden reeled in Cook like a real UM HC would have, he would have beat FSU once or twice.

I'm sorry, but we WERE short handed AND Al Golden stunk. Sure, a better coach could have beaten FSU, even shorthanded. The numbers don't lie, though. We were short on scholarship players. We had also recruited HORRIBLY from 2009 to 2011, which also left us short on talent. Especially Miami type talent. So excuse me if I don't give a crap about FSU losing a player or 5.

Edit... I should say from 2009 to 2013... 2014 was a pretty good class.
