Sean Maguire broken foot out 4-6 weeks

So where is the Classy TopHat and Ascot wearing Brigade to remind us that we wouldn't posting this stuff on McGuire if he was
a Cane?

I mean, this thread is tailor-made for them to remind us how uncouth we Cane fans are on these boards.

INCumFace ran out of calligraphy ink. Otherwise, he already would have penned a "you guys wouldn't be celebrating the loss of a UM QB so why are you happy FSU lost a QB?" reply.

Sir,

I respectfully submit that your post is of very questionable taste.
People of your quality, or lack thereof, are why I avoid your presence at the Polo
Club.

Why? We threw Al Golden at them for 5 years. Were WE at full strength?

We were.....Unfortunately.

Yeah, lack of scholarship players and Al Golden, and we were at full strength? When was the last time we were over 80 scholarship players? They never complain about UM not being at full strength, since that's the only time they thrive against us. Why in the world should I care if their QB is out?

We were at full strength. Stop making excuses. The only thing that stopped us from beating Florida state was Al golden. Unfortunately, al golden was our full strength.

I'm sorry, but we WERE short handed AND Al Golden stunk. Sure, a better coach could have beaten FSU, even shorthanded. The numbers don't lie, though. We were short on scholarship players. We had also recruited HORRIBLY from 2009 to 2011, which also left us short on talent. Especially Miami type talent. So excuse me if I don't give a crap about FSU losing a player or 5.

Edit... I should say from 2009 to 2013... 2014 was a pretty good class.

Sorry, Bro, but you are making excuses. The loss of 9 scholarships did not hurt us one bit. One, we basically imposed that on ourselves before the NCAA did. The top prospects that did not grow up loving The U weren't coming to play for Al Golden. He was a bad coach.

Does anyone know if they gave Francois a shirt last year? Either way, he'll be a darn good QB for them providing he remains healthy. Very dynamic player who can do it all.

I think this benefits them in the end. McGuire, he wasn't going to win games for them and who knows if he would've even gotten the nod. I said when they signed him the Francois was their future.

Pretty sure he's a RS. This board laughed at the notion of freshman Jameis Winston as well. I think the kid has tons of talent and I will definitely wait to watch him when it counts before writing him off like some are comfortable doing.

Who cares who they start? We lost by 5 @ FSU coached by Al Golden & returned our WHOLE TEAM. Were gonna kick their *** pretty bad I think actually. They are one demisional.

Andrew & @ DMoney

How is this trolling?

Francois is intriguing. Certainly has more upside than mcguire but we will see how well he manages the offense due to the inexperience.

The only this hurts for FSU is depth for the month of September.

Per Seminole **** Scoop.... Camp observations
Ermon Lane was mostly used as a reserve and didn’t really impress. He was tentative on 50/50 balls and simply doesn’t seem confident in using his 6-foot-3 frame.

Deondre Francois is far and away FSU’s top option at quarterback, it’s not even close. The real concern for FSU is what it as behind Francois. J.J. Cosentino was the No. 2 QB today and he just looked lost. There was a two-play sequence in which he didn’t know where to hand the ball off on run plays. Even more discouraging was that he was sullen afterwards and didn’t seem to respond well to adversity, which is something we saw in the Peach Bowl versus Houston.

On top of that Francois threw 3-4 ints...

i think francois has the goods but will struggle with consistent pressure..

will panic and make errant throws, etc..

is oct 8 here already??

Francois is awesome because everyone at FSU is awesome. Fck actually doing anything in a game. This dude has an arm and he can run. Jameis II.

Ole Miss gonna cover now?

Does Francois make them better or worst?

Considering how crappy of a QB he was I wonder if his loss is actually a benefit for the Noles.

In any case he'll be back by the Miami FSU game. Unless his replacement does well enough to grab the permanent starting spot from Maguire.

Man I think it'll take longer for him. Even if he's back for Miami game he's not going to be in football shape, taken reps, anything. That's like walking in off the street and trying to pick up where you left off. It don't just happen like that.
