I would have preferred he go after someone with experience in the 2017 class to go along with Perry. We needed someone to push Malik and two freshman weren't going to do it.
Stidham for Auburn would have obviously been choice number 1 but I haven't taken the time to see who else was available.
I guess what I'm really wondering is at what point do we start questioning the QB coaches and not the QB's? Because it's not Malik Rosiers fault Richt is going into Year 3 and still hasn't found/groomed someone to take over. But it's still only year 3, so maybe it's not realistic to think that these QB issues would be fixed yet?
Allison did not transfer until late April. If I remember correctly it seemed like a surprise to everyone even the coaches. So it was probably hoped that Allison would have taken the job last year with one year in college and in the system. So this is well after the class was done.
