First team D dominated today like they haven’t all spring. Its been pretty equal. King didn’t play much and I believe ZN was still out.

So King playing lightly was to keep him from getting killed???

I always want to hear the Defense is dominating. A great Defense gives you a chance to win any game. You don’t need to dominate like our teams in 80’s and 90’s but if you can keep opponents under 24, you will be successful.

I’m not worried about our Offense. They’re heading in the right direction.

It should not be a concern that the defense dominated after Manny stated that he was expecting them to bounce back after their performance the 1st scrimmage.

It would have been concerning if it didn’t happen.

that was the narrative last scrimmage. "why are all the QBs always so efficient vs our D"?

King led another scoring drive and the first team D was dominant.

What else do you want? Isn't that perfect?! We want King to lead our offense down the field to score points (which is what he has done in practice and the scrimmages), and we want our 1st team defense to be dominant.

That is excellent news.

I’m more worried about the defense than I am the offense…not sure our offense can be shut down no matter who we play but the defense can sure as fck give up 45 if they don’t come to play…

plus the main thing is we have no idea who all stats on both sides of the ball were gotten against…let’s not over analyze a scrimmage.We will know in 2 weeks what part of our team is more dominant .Let’s hope it’s BOTH.

great they are balling but does our tackling suck? Are we still doing that soft cover 2 look in obvious passing situations… and we going 0 but getting torched on the back end…
