Rasta man Mike Smith original Rudebwoy mi fi lick shot for Bad man dem!

I love reading how young men like this is turning up! I remember readying about him when he was being recruited and once Golden got hold of him, isht went down hill. Looking forward to seeing him, Knowles, moten and a few others turn it up.

That's great to hear Garvin, Malek Young, Quan & Mike Smith all played great...

Mike was very serviceable for us last year in the backup MLB role & I think he'll continue to provide good relief man depth behind Shaq.

Malek will be playing in that Elder role & I think he'll have a huge year for us, especially with Delaney on the other side of him, you can also move him around to NCB with Dean & Delaney on the outside... Bandy will play a lot Nickel too when he gets here.

Das how i see it too. Dean and Delaney battle it out at field CB. Young and Jackson will battle it out at boundary. Bandy gets the nickel. Emergency 6th CB will be Mayes or even a safety switching down.

Michael Smith and Darrion Owens (and CJ Perry) will be invaluable as backups if they can get their shi* together. Steed needs time to recover from injury. So does Gordinier. Wilder needs to learn more than rushing the passer. Jennings is physically ready to contribute at MLB.

What intrigues me is these guys contributing on special teams. We need these guys to help there as well. These names and the incoming frosh is going to be nice, y'all!!! Felling like some ole skool canes here.

Hate for Allison (or anyone) to get injured, but it sounds like Sheriffs and Rosier could use all the reps they can get.

any word on how the RBs did?
Richt in his presser said he didn't focus on running, mainly just pass plays, because he knows Walton could just take over a scrimmage.

probably fearful of injury.. we do only have 2. Also, difficult for QBs to do well when D doesn't have to worry about u running it

Coach Richt said "he doesnt focus on running bc he knows Walton can take over a scrimmage"

QP interprets it to him "probably being fearful of injury"

/ seems legit

Evan Shirreffs will be our starting QB throughput the season.

First it was Weldon's going be the starter. He comes in and fourth/fifth string.

What at makes you think it's going be any different for Perry?
Well, Perry is a far better QB than Weldon & only people on here turned Weldon into a starter, when he clearly isn't on the same level as Perry.

With the said, as much as I would like for Perry to be the starter I don't think it's going to happen...

Perry has had the playbook since January, so it's not like he's coming in completely green, but I don't think he'll have enough reps to beat out Rosier or Shirreffs.

I think Richt wants it to be a head to head matchup come Fall, whoever is the leader coming out of Spring, then he'll give Perry every opportunity to wow him & show how fast he can pick things up.

But, I don' think that will be enough... Unless Perry is basically perfect in every scrimmage, it'll be Rosier or Shirreffs.

Richt was also quoted saying that he has nightmares daily about the RB depth...

Nice to see Dayall with a td, kinda forgot bout him. He'll be a great asset this year as a safety net for a new qb to move the chains

Evan Shirreffs will be our starting QB until the fall

There won't be a starter by fall. All signs point towards rotating QBs to start the season.

my guess too. I know MR don't like to use multiple QB's in a game but with these QB's all bringing something different it could be the way to go. Atleast until 1 truly seperates themself in the season.

We better hope we don't go with multiple QBs. That is a disaster 99% of the time. You need one guy to lesd the team and create chemistry and rhythm. If we don't have a starter to get the experience in those first two gamed, I promise we will get embarrassed in Tallahassee.
