Schwartz

Brock you lying.

LMAO!!! Say what you want about Par's track obsession but when it comes to track...he ain't neva gonna get a time wrong.

brock, I think you jumped the shark tank on this one.

Wouldn't exactly say Brock is wrong:
On 4/18/17, Wiggins ran the 100m in 11.19s, and he ran the 200m in 22.31s. (https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=10965608#/L0)
On 2/18/17, Harley ran the 100m in 11.26s. and on 3/20/17, he ran the 200m in 22.31s. (https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/Athlete.aspx?AID=7749852#/L0)

Now, obviously Wiggins is not as fast as Harley is, and this was comparing Wiggins' best times with some of Harley's worst. But he is listed as 6'2" 180lbs whereas Harley is 5'9" 155lbs.

If Par got that wrong then not only is brockonian data research exonerated with a huge win... but that's the track equivalent of Rumph not landing Tyson Campbell - Epic Fail on the Par side.

OK, so let me ask a simple question.

The GaytorBait article says that Schwartz's top 3 are all SEC schools.

So why are we talking about him?

I have very limited patience for this type of stuff. Not a top target and he still doesn't prioritize UM? Pass.

Fastest kid in the '18 class

People love speed which is why people overlook his receiving skills. Either way there doesn't appear to be interest on either side anymore

Look, I'm not stupid, I know where the kid is from.

But it doesn't matter if he went to Coral Gables High, if he doesn't have an offer, and we're not in his Top 3, then this entire thread is hypothetical.

It's a recruiting board, we should spend more time on guys, you know, that we are ACTUALLY RECRUITING.

Just my opinion, I know someone will say that we're ALLOWED to talk about guys we SHOULD BE recruiting, but still.

Brock is wrong. Are you really comparing times1- 2 months apart? Lmao. Harley is a mid 21 200m meter guy almost a full second faster than Wiggins. If you wanna compare guys you usually always use to same time frame not times they ran months apart.

absolute take. especially in a 4-5 WR class

This is a 3 or 4 WR class.
It may have been a 4 or 5 WR class before we got Jordan and Mallory to commit at TE.

Pope, Hightower, and Wiggins are locks.

Then it appears the ranking is likely Marshall > X > Austin > Thompson > Schwartz > E Moore.
Marshall is a Louisiana dude, like a 1% Chance.
Xavier is sticking with Bama, so staff likely to move on from him sooner than later.
Kevin Austin would be great, But pretty sure ND is definitely the team to beat for him, but we are in his final 4 (with ND, UTenn, and Duke)
Thompson looks like he's going to FSU or UF, where he'd likely be eithers top WR.

That leaves us with Schwartz and Elijah Moore. And just to use twitter as an indication: 15 coaches/personnel guys following Schwartz, 10 coaches/personnel guys following Elijah Moore.
Imo, we either finish with Schwartz, Moore, or just 3 in this class (which I would prefer). If I had to choose, I'd pick Schwartz

make sure you let our WR coach know

The only possible way I see us getting 5 is if we get two of Terrance Marshall, Xavier Williams, or Kevin Austin...and thats just because you can't pass on elite talents. It's the same thing with Tyreke. We are only taking 7 DBs...but If Tyreke calls on NSD and says I want in, you can't say no because he's too good.

Now if two of those 3 WRs want in then I agree that we should accept their commitment. But If none of those 3 want In I think we are more likely to stick with just 3 WRs. Marshall is a long shot no matter how you look at it. Xavier Williams still recruits for Bama, so unless he decommits by Paradise camp we're pretty much done with him (but also he is more of an athlete). Kevin Austin is the guy I think we have the best shot at, since its pretty much down to us and ND.
