Schiano will be the next HC at Miami - IMO

Tubs- no fcukkn way. Schiano- **** no. Butch- yes if all other coaches are exhausted. Persotnally id like to go after someone in the NFL. Possibly some OC mastermind in CFB. Whatever his background is - he has to be proven.

Kirby hired golden because of his 300 page binder. Never bothered to look up his background and production. We hired a PSU TE who learned the 34 from Groh. LOL. Any competent human being would of saw that AG was not a good candidate.

What alumni would be pushing hard for Schiano? Would venture to say that if there's any alumni push that it'd (stupidly) be to bring Luigi "home" from Alabamy. Plus, Schiano's dream college job was Penn State. We don't need him actually succeeding in using us as a stepping stone to Happy Valley once Franklin is exposed as the darkier skinned Al Golden up there.

Why does it have to someone who played or coached here ?

Mullen...I'm tired of watching this bland *** "Pro-Style" offense.

The Pro-style offense is not bland but it is the Head Coach that demands the offense control the clock to protect his anemic defenses instead of playing wide open but still balanced looking to drop at least 40 points on everyone we play.

Go Canes

Sure about that? Wasn't Franklin up for some NFL jobs last year?

Listen to him talk and look at his results there. He's Golden but with more phony enthusiasm. He almost lost their garbage bowl game to BC and Hackenberg has regressed. Give it one more year until he's completely exposed as all buzz words and rah rah. As for the NFL, I doubt that had any legs but then again a team did hire the Syracuse corch not too long ago- albeit at least he had some legit NFL experience.

It doesn't. I'm just saying that any alumni "push" would be minimal and inconsequential and would probably fall behind a bad move like hiring Cristobal. Nothing even against Schiano but it's not like people think Cane when you hear his name so it's not like alumni or local fans would view it as him coming "home".

I have no doubt at all that Schiano would equal the success at Miami of Saban and Meyer. His recruiting, development and coaching acumen for the college game is on par with those guys. I love what he did at Rutgers from an offensive and defensive perspective with the limited recruiting he had. He still pulled some good ones and developed the ones he got. What most may not know or remember is he would always have some tricks up his sleeve as well. He's be a guaranteed 10+ wins every year with FL/SoFL and bluechip NE recruits (no the Golden coal shovelers).

he would prob be consistent not sure he would dominate. he turned rutgers around but they were like an 8-9 win team. in his defense, he put alot of good players in NFL and took over a nightmare of a program.
