Scarlett VS Walton

Scarlett = physical freak, stud RB. Walton = fundamentally sound, solid RB.

The gap between the 2 is pretty wide IMO.

Walton vs Yearby is more realistic question

we fsu of the 90's

we get the good players fsu gets the elite players, we done traded places. they used to get our left overs now they get first dibs. true story.

they r always loaded while we gota wait n see of they r any good.

Bro FSU has ALWAYS had better recruiting classes than Miami even in the 80's and 90's

Thank u

Yea but we always got the better talent back then even if magazines said otherwise, with the age of the internet (last ten years) we now really get the less talented guys. Miami knew what it was doing then cuz we had our eyes focused down here, no more advantage of that n e more.

This is my opinion even if some magazine said fsus class were better then ours, u mean to tell me ed reed n ray Lewis would be bumbs at fsu? Negative
Them boys were the better players then no matter where they went. Now guys like cook etc fsu know about n the world so now they r getting the right kids. We aren't
It's about players just like our current coach says JJ says Bowden says and every other good fkin coach says, it's always about players at the college level. That's y we need butch, nikkas talkin bout chud Lol dude won't recruit well and will lose even if he plays tic tax toe.no one knows who da *** chud is they know butch tho.

If Yearby was at FSU, Cook would still be his back up. Cook is good but give me Yearby all day. You guys don't get it.

Dalvin Cook is special I never seen a RB that good since Duke Johnson.

Cook played on a better (coached) team, plus he had Winston.

The reason why Cook was Yeaby's backup was b/c he couldn't get those yards consistently. I remember one game in high school, Cook had like 8 carries for 10 yards and all of a sudden he breaks off a 60 yard run. Yearby was consistent that game and he kept the chains moving.

Yea but everyone knew cook was better n would be a better college player. Yearly n all the backs in high school look "look" fast cuz they playing against high school kids. Cook was better when u used ur eyes

That booker t vs u school playoff game said a lot... Scarlett ain't do sh*t against that defense..

Dat boy gun have a college OL now, booker T had more talent top to bottom. We bottled up studs when we had great players because it's 11 against 1

We developed our talent, placed them in systems to succeed and outcoached folks. The exception being dynasty II. The track record speaks for itself. Some of the greatest Canes in our history were not highly recruited. RMaryland, CKennedy, WSapp, RLewis, EReed, STaylor, the list is endless.

What we had was superior coaching. As poor of a recruiter as Erickson was he could still out X and O most dopes he faced on Saturdays, even when drunk.

We don't have national championship level talent. However, we do have double digit-winning talent.

Scarlett and it ain't close, and it brings you Bruce also so Scarlett easily.

Certainly not the popular opinion around these parts, but it's the correct one.

It's also funny how the homer patrol is out in full force now that he's gone elsewhere. There wasn't a negative comment to be found when we had his verbal. People were saying he was the one guy we needed. When Walton first mentioned his attempting to reclassify, there were numerous people who didn't even care if he did since we could have Scarlett and him in two different classes.

Scarlett is a stud no doubt.......Walton is a stud no doubt about that & he got that dog in him....that it factor....

**** just imagine Scarlett,Walton & D will in the same backfield....

The only thing that gets more exposure now in SFL, are kids that would not have gotten the same attention. This is usually due to measurable, they just started football, and/or the school that they play. FSU doesn't go after those kids; they rarely have.

Who's the last kid that they offered from down here that didn't already have offers...Freeman and the qb from S. Plantation?

Kids like Cook, Lane, and Rudolph have measurable's, production, and they played for well-known programs. I don't care what Jimbo says in those interviews, he's not coming down here anymore to find the under-hyped 2/3-stars. He picked up a few in the beginning of his coaching tenure and established relationships. Now, all of his recruits play in all star games and have a good ranking: McFadden, Phillips, Brewton, etc...

Walton is the superior back. And I've said it when Scarlett was committed.

I keep hearing how Scarlett is some "physical freak". FOr a guy his size and speed he runs extremely soft and timid.

Walton runs hard and tougher. Walton has better patience and vision.

Scarlett looks like he tip toes behind the lane.

the only recent coach who proved me wrong was coach steong, he got at it with a five star qb and south florida studs everywhere. but butch got those blue blue blue chippers. we need to lock up sfla nad get blue chips players n play and attacking o n d

a lot of the guys butch got where guys that weren't rated high nationally that were studs, he got studs of course but he also struck gold with some kids, he also missed out on local studs too, my thing is if they had the resources in recruiting that we have now that they had back then would he have gotten them? would ed reed, morgan, sean be still 2-3 stars now a days? not knocking on butch at all, i actually wouldn't mind him being our next coach, it takes someone with that eye for talent to find them which he had, I'm just curious if he would have gotten them if other major schools were recruiting them?
