Say what you want, we aren’t that far off from Clemson...

Disagree maybe on the dline but I’ll take our linebacker and db group over Clemson. At running back miami has more depth although Travis Etteine is very good. Obviously they have the dline for sure but they may be overrated a tad bit imo, our dline is good.

On offense
Comparable receiver talent

Rb
Miami has the best depth here

Oline
Clemson with more talent for sure here

Qb
Both unproven here but Miami has more depth

If Miami gets Clemson in the ACC championship without Lawrence or Bryant and we have Perry at QB, we should win that game. I think we do want them to win the rest of their games so that they are Top 3 when we play. If we win out until then we should be ranked #5 or 6 going into the acc championship. A win might slide us into the #4 slot for BCS.
 
38-3 was more then just a Rosier problem. We looked like we didn't belong on the same field with Clemson on every phase and level. The Clemson's other QB that wasn't that good last year gave us a new *** hole. Our defense got it teeth kicked in.. our O-line got their teeth kicked in.. **** we wouldn't even shutdown UNC basic run game.. Perry is a better QB then Rosier IMO but he isn't a game changer.

Yes, he is. Because teams can't stack the box anymore. It's not that Perry is a transcendent talent (too early to say) but he is definitely a game changer because teams have to respect the middle of the field now. Syracuse was beating Clemson through the air. If AR82 gets back to what he was, Miami can pass all over them.
 
Of course I always hope/believe that miami can win but Clemson may be better than us and may possibly beat us in the ACCG but there is absolutely no excuse to roll over, lay An egg and get dominated by them again like we have been the last two times we've played them, especially after how teams like Pitt and syracuse have played them the last couple years.

Should be a very good game miami vs Clemson.if we do or don't beat them watch out 2019 we will make a lot of noise.:hh9beelfgeoezuwg.jpg::troll-dancing::troll-slap:
 
No way in **** Clemson is the #3 team in the country, and Dabo knows it. They've got that ranking, but it's Alabama by a huge margin then Georgia and Ohio State.

Clemson has not looked impressive this season. They've still got more talent then us in certain spots, and they have more depth that we are 1-2 years away from compiling. But no reason why we can't give them a close, hard-fought game this year. No reason at all.
 
The one area of the team we aren’t even close to them in is Special teams. We have the worst kickers in the nation!!!

I think Miami could give Clemson a much better game than last year, but let’s be real, we don’t have their depth.

Come back to me after we beat FSU and beat BC and Vag Tech in their houses. Then talk to me about Clemson.

This. Our OL is not playoff caliber. Maybe enough to get a conference championship but not playoff material.

Special Teams/depth are concerns too.

If we get hot we have enough talent to make a good run but we’re missing some important pieces.
