I'm 90 minutes from Columbus; it's friggin' cold. Anyone who chooses this over SFL needs to have their head examined.

North or south? I'm just north of Cincy, freezing half to death, nobody can go outside, you have to hibernate for like 3-4 months. Can't imagine having to walk to class or anywhere for that matter,

Jesus, recent transplant from sunny south Florida? Minus the last week and some change, in particular these two days with sub-zero wind chill, this has been a very mild winter. We even had some 60 degree days in December. Get decent outerwear if you're freezing like you say you are.

I have lived here for 39yrs, worked in it for construction and been out in it for some of the most brutal Bengals games ever... I never get use to it. Alot of my winters I spent 2 months in Ft Myers or Siesta Key. So yes, the kid would have to have lost his mind to move up north IMO
As far as it being mild, yes, but when you actually feel 4 degrees with a -10 windchill I don't care who you are, the inside of your nose freezes and it hurts everywhere to move

Gotcha....admittedly I notice the cold more now than I did 20 years younger when I was in college. Heck, when it would snow or whatever, I was thrilled to get on my mountain bike and zip around. Your hands in your profession would be the hard part to keep warm.

No question, it's cold out there this past 48 hours. I used to do a lot of outdoor stuff and lived in the mountains where this weather wasn't unusual, but having the right gear and later if system makes it completely tolerable. It's amazing how far gear has come in the last 10 years with regards to lightweight and mobility.

Sam Bruce would be a monster in that Urban Meyer offense. I just don't see him leaving the state.

How would he be a monster? He is shorter and slower then every receiver on their team... And they go deep .. Did u watch the championship game last year... Going deep will not be bruce's fortay

I never seen him get caught from behind. Have you? Plus he's super elusive in open space. He's faster than Victor & he just committed

Sam is quick and pretty fast. He will run a 4.4 at the combine but will also get run down if it were a 100m by a few DBs(not many). The key is that he separates from DBs making it easier on the QB and less likely for him to get caught. I want but don't think we get Bruce. Hope he knows that true happiness is found within and not playing people.

Haskins is a good recruiter for you. Too bad he sucks as a QB. May be Gibson plays QB but I don't think he is much better. Meyer is going to have a tough time landed QBs if doesn't start producing NFL guys like Fisher and Saban. Not saying he won't get kids but he isn't going to pull the next Newton without throwing $200k at them like Auburn.

Nate Craig Meyers and Victor are both out the picture for UF, so I wonder what happens there in regards to Bruce

Come on guys, now that some feel he may leave we are now making excuses. Let's get real. If he comes he comes, if not we move on. Let's not make excuses that he's too small, etc... There are plenty of examples recently of smaller players working out extremely well in the NFL

Antonio Brown
Wes Welker
TY Hilton
Steve Smith
Darren Sproles

I am sure there are more but I don't feel like looking it up. Everyone is not your prototypical 6'4" 220 running a 4.3...

I just moved to Columbus and it is a nice town in the summers.

The place absolutely sucks in the winter.

If I could make close to the same money in SoFl (or a much warmer climate) I would move tomorrow.

And therein lies the rub....He will definitely make more $ while at OSU.

I think he sticks with UM. I don't blame him for checking his options but when he visits he will get the red carpet treatment by UM. Bruce is a priority for this coaching staff.

If Trindon Holiday can play in the NFL then Bruce could too. That said, Bruce is 5'6 1/2" at best so comparisons to WR's that are actually 5'9" and above aren't exactly accurate. Wes Welker is short. Bruce would be your friend that you'd joke around and call a midget.

lol at comparing him to Holliday. The guy was almost an olympian, for crying out loud.
