Saban was already a elite coach and had won a NCG at his prior CFB job before moving on to the NFL. Richt was FIRED.
Richt is a small upgrade from Golden. But the hire gave me no excitement.
Now that I have seen his coaching it matches up with what Georgia fans said.
Unless the ACC falls off we won't win a conference championship much less a national one under Richt....
Sucks. But I always want the young up and comer instead of the fired washed up coach.
Our admin failed us as fans...
