:rk5i6fxwjlgev5j6.jpg: at posters trying to downplay Sabans coaching (all aspects - X-O, recruiting, building a culture, evaluating, etc).

Who's better? Other schools have just as much or more "resources" as Bama, why haven't they had the success Bama has? Because Saban isn't their coach.
he did trash in the NFL he couldnt pick his players he had to do it fair, his x and o's really lit it up at Miami. Those Dolphins were hard to stop

he was always going to succeed there. When he got hired bama insiders said u didnt get the best coach u got the best recruiter.
We got a lot more than that. Coach Saban gets human nature. He understands those buttons to push each game that gets the best out of his guys. Getting to the top is a lot easier than staying there just because people get satisfied and complacency sets it to the program. It hasn't in Tuscaloosa. You don't just coach players on a run like this he also coaches the coaches. As he says, it's a process and college football hasn't seen the likes of it since coach Bryant.

There are different parts of the job when you are at the top of an organization, either way you are ultimately judged on the final result. Saban makes things look so easy that some of his qualities are easily overlooked. Alabama is not the only school with a big budget, reality is that Saban can execute at a level not seen before at this level. We ourselves have seen how hard it is to not only to get to a dominant level but stay there. Butch, once again the GOAT evaluator and great recruiter, but he would have duds on the field. Think about all the quality coaches that have come through the decades and none of them had this level of success. Think about how Saban has adapted to game itself. He went from having a run first oriented team that relied on the defense to a shoot out type of offense. Remember in 17 when we, including myself were laughing at those WRs all signing there? Well it turned out ole Satan had a plan all along. That wasn't just recruiting, that was planning and executing a vision. He has turnover all the time, and yet is right back at the top of the mountain the very next year.

Just stop it, man. Throw in the towel.

Saban is a coaching genius and a once in a lifetime leader. The guy literally has every single trait you want in a coach. He’s so gifted, former NFL head coaches coaches go work for him as coordinators or analysts.

Why would NFL coaches clamor to work for, consistently consult with, or pick the brain of merely a “recruiter” that can’t really coach? That makes no sense.

Bill Belichick often picks his brain. Stop, and just say that phrase out loud.

Preach

If it was all about resources then UGA, Texas, ou, Norte dame and Michigan would be right with Bama..saban is RTS difference. He would’ve had LSU is the same position as Bama is today. He has my respect. That said, **** em

Let's correct the title. Sabans 5 stars vs Manny...I hate the fact that people think this guys a genius coach. He's not he just out talents u and coaches go there to hop onto another job...knowing whatever tf they run will work with those athletes. He could run the triple option and they would win.
So Manny's only claim so far to any hope as a head coach is in recruiting. It's not in X's and O's, not in motivation, or his trial and error hiring, which are all important too if you are a good head coach. Yet you give Saban no credit for recruiting, motivation or hiring? I think Saban is the anti-Christ, but let's not become ridiculous. Try this again with an even grading system.

Saban knows that the keys to winning in college are

1) sign the best players
2) hire the best assistants

That’s how you win as a college coach. The guys talking about Saban “coaching circles around guys” make me laugh.

Not to hard when you have a never ending $$$$ supply....
Bama isn’t the only school with that advantage tho..literally had a poster bringing up Bama guys not “not dominating in the nfl” as tho that’s a knock on Saban lol. NFL coach’s go see that man. Ex college flame outs rejuvenate their careers. Their players max in college at higher rate than just about anywhere else..that’s a college programs job..we not gunna out coach them. We gotta take advantage of matchups

Butch told me in the late 90s that Saban was an up and comer...this was after Butch invited him to Greentree several times...he said Saban was very studious....this was when he was at Michigan St...

wideouts were signing there with ancient offenses like Amari Cooper

he needs some x and o's and modernize both sides of the ball. He did that on Offense already he just needs to keep top talent in state and hes fine

So I was searching for Miami Alabama YouTube clips and I don't know why these YouTube thumbnails are making me crack up so much! Like they perfectly capture who these guys are, Saban with his resting *****face and Manny looking like a used car salesman at Gus Machado Ford!

I think you’re on the wrong board.
Go salivate that midgets sack somewhere else.

124 receptions for 1,727 and 16 TDs his junior season at Alabama. He also was presented with the 2014 Biletnikoff Award as college football's best receiver.

Oh, and Amari finished third in the Heisman vote.

and thats before they opened it up, they had trash Enos at QB coach. Dude is trash but had talent and got a job off it like others that go there. Its basically Coach rehab, but then some fool program hires them and then the talent is gone and they suck.

Coach Cristobal looks like he learned something while coaching for the Crimson Tide.

Dolphins management picked duante over drew Brees. Urban probably won’t be successful in the NFL. That doesn’t take away from what he did in college. Bama was on its way to what we see Tennessee as today unti 2006

He’s had success everywhere he’s been..idk it’s just stupid when ppl try to down play what he’s turned that place into. Those alums etc give him whatever he needs because that investment comes back tenfold with Saban running the show
