# 3 has a better strength of schedule and more impressive wins.
 
Great coach, seemingly bad recruiter. My problem here is rumph is being asked to do half the job as other DB coaches (he only coaches CBs) and still isn't showing the recruiting results as other coaches.

CFLCane posted it earlier and I thinks he's dead on; you aren't going to find many former NFL players who are great recruiters. They don't feel the need to suck up for HS kids who haven't done anything yet. Not sure if this is the case with Rumph but that's my guess

I'd seriously consider firing him if we don't land Campbell. Good coach but he's struck out too many times

just a few weeks ago there were long debates wether we were taking 7 or 8 DBs in this class with all the studs available,now it's we're fine with 4,Love this place.

Rumph is underperforming at his job. Rumph has been a loser on the recruiting trail. He played ball his whole life, he can take his L like a man. No need to sugarcoat it-- he's been a loser thus far in his coaching career at Miami. Although I've heard year 3 he's gonna start teaching "turning the F around."
 
Coaching staff could have not signed a single defensive player in 2018 and some of these Diaz and Rumph slurpers would still be blaming Dorito.

You mean Ivey, Blades was basically gift wrapped. We had to call in Colbertson last year to get Dean locked up. Bandy bleeds orange and green, another wrapped gift. Young, Richt already basically had him locked up at UGA. He needs to land an elite CB. Campbell should have been that guy.
