Rumph to UM

Guy was a stud CB. Drafted in 1st round. Won national championship. Won 2 state titles as a coach. I think he has plenty of credentials to coach one position on the field.

We have the most obnoxious fans. I get we have had a terrible 10 plus years, but I think we need to give Richt and his staff a chance before we question everything! Some of you need a life away from this and other sites!

I like all the hires and love some. I have yet to hate any of them and I fail to see the complaining.

Maybe you should allow people to have their opinions. It is called standards. They differ for many. Not everyone will agree with you because you're super positive about Richt.

Of those 7 I think it would be a win to get 3 of them. That would basically be half since Johnson is committed I'd say it's too late for him.

Wilson and the 2 OL would be huge

That's why I have been barely posting anymore.

It's the same crap all over again. You question a single hire/aspect of Richt's regime, then the same posters (mostly ex-Golden supporters, but they'll pretend they weren't) and **** hits the fan.

Really tired of the cult-like mentality when it comes to Miami football. No objectivity. Just blind homerism.

I agree it is a risk, maybe he is the next big deal. I wanted to get a proven hire and it is a position of need with Diaz. I loved the coach Kul hire, I wanted to get a big name at DB to help him. I am all about minimizing risk.

Well considering all of the major D1 talent (especially DBs) that he has essentially recruited to Heritage over his time there, I think he has a decent eye for DB talent.
 
CBs. We don't have a dedicated OC. We can have 9 assistants. Pair Rumph with a veteran safeties coach and all is well. Or at least better.

I just fear, when we got Diaz, we needed a monster hire at DB. With him coaching CBs and someone else coaching Ss, I don't know if we got what we needed to make up for Diaz.

Let's hope for the best.
