RUMOR: Goodbye Jordan Scarlett

Have faith, the kid ain't no punk. If he was going to de-commit, he would have done so already... Go Canes!

I know he's not a lifelong STA guy, but it's just difficult for me to believe that an STA kid would troll like this after being committed here so long. Doesn't their staff usually put the kibosh on this kind of thing? If he wants to leave... Ok, whatever. But won't ever understand kids trashing the schools they leave or their hometown school in the process. Hopefully he's not.

I think he stays. He's always posting stuff about Us. He may be battling an internal dilemma but he obviously really loves UM. Especially with Portis posting on his Instagram.

i heard that one thing he has told people he has weighed if he goes to miami and they have another bad year, golden will prob get fired and he will still have 2 years to play under a new coach.

I think Scarlett will stick he knows the lineage of RB's that played at the U these kids are smarter then some ppl think....close to home and he also wants to play alongside Walton! Team is also full of talent its the coaching and game planning that sucks every week...not to mention playing not to lose will cause you to lose 100% of the time. That crap doesnt work at the U! Bring back some pf the old payers as assistants Mike Rumph, Ed Reed, Ray Lewis, Jon Vilma what recurit would say no to these guys! Wake up Blake James or get out of office!

This!

Think back to the last time an STA kid stood someone up at the alter and changed their minds on signing day? That's not how they operate.

all signs point to Scarlett trolling us which is almost as disappointing as losing his commitment. Don't understand the need to sh*t on a school and its fans that you have been committed to for the better part of a year. If you change your mind, so be it. Just be respectful

THIS^^^

I don't understand what kids get out of ******** a school that has offered them an opportunity to be a legend in your home town/city...

Nobody down here cares too much about Amari Cooper even though he is a beast...
(Yeah, yeah he made the best decision for him bs...[kid would have still been a first rounder at UM, we produce NFL WRs and feature our good ones well, just wouldn't have won a NC])

You know why he isn't as big of a deal down here as say Duke Johnson(who won't be taken nearly as high in the draft)?

B/c he left his home town fans that watched him blossom into what he became as a HS senior to go make Bama hot, instead of staying home and repping his city and becoming part of bringing Miami back.

If he stayed home and played for UM, he would be a legend down here like Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Michael Irvin etc...

Now you take Jordan Scarlett:

We have known about this kid since he was a Fr and many on here from even before then...

Followed him, watching all of his highlights, reading articles hoping one day he might become part of the solution here...

Most UF fans probably don't even know who he is and the ones that really follow recruiting just found out about this kid when their new coach started coming after him...

Now they are all over his twitter showing him love...

And outside of what he can do for them on a football feild, they don't give a **** about him...

Just another "work horse" to them...

When he is family down here...

After following Sony Michel since his 8th grade year and thinking he was a "Cane Lock" only to see him sign with UGA was a kick in the nuts, but losing Jordan Scarlett this late right before NSD without being able to secure a decent back up would be even worse and downright disrespectful to UM and all the fans that have done nothing but support him.

Especially with the fact that we desperately need him along with Mark Walton next year to help replace Duke...

He's a high schooler. He's not a part of this family you're talking about.

If he is born and raised down here he is family to us...

To UF he is just another horse...

We appreciate and love our players that rep their city and stay home maybe just a little more than others b/c we know everyone in the country wanted them and they decided to "make their city hot"(in Duke's words).

We'll know everything on Sunday. If he solidifies his commitment after his OV and cancels his FSU and UF OV, he's ours. If not, he gone.

Not if he chooses those lizards...

But if he decides to honor his commitment and stay home to rep his city, then he is definitely part of the family and has a chance to be a legend here along names like Frank Gore, Willis McGahee, Duke Johnson, Andre Johnson, Sean Taylor etc...(elite guys from Miami area who could have gone anywhere but chose to help put their city on the map)

Any chance that offering Archer might secure Scarlett?

If so, it is a no brainer b/c the kid is solid and we are hurting for any defensive players

All the chance you offer Archer and its game over LITERALLY

Remember when you guys signed Kelvin Taylor and Matt Jones and thought they would be those types of RBs for you?

What happened?

Matt Jones has no business leaving early, hasn't accomplished ****, b/c UF can't produce NFL RBs.

LMAO@ anyone thinking Matt Jones would be an elite RB. Most schools recruited him as a receiver. He's big, not elusive, and may be a 4.7 guy. Please stop making things up. You're right, a school is responsible for producing talent. It's not the kid's talent itself or the coaching staff in place. If a recruit signs at a particular school he's guaranteed to be a stud or bust. Genius.

Dude wtf are you talking about? Matt Jones was recruited as a running back by everybody. Would not have even considered a swith of positions. Now being from Tampa I thought he was severely overrated and laughed when people said he would be an elite rb

No he wasn't. He also had offers as an H-back at 6'3 225. He went to UF to play in Muschamp's power scheme as that fit him better. But I don't think anyone ever thought he'd be an elite RB and I personally never thought he was a feature back. He wasn't even UF's first choice that year, he's the definition of a JAG.

Dude muschump wasnt even the ******* coach who recruited jones.. but you know it all right. Go back and check your facts homey cause jones was only considering schools who recruited him as a rb. And tebow was not recruited at any other position but qb. If your gonna make **** up have the facts to back it up. And dont go back and show what his freshman year high school coach said either

LOL@ pushing this family angle. Would you even know who Scarlett is much less care if he couldn't tote a football well? The honest answer there is no, please stop acting like these players are family to you. Your reasons for wanting them at Miami are just as self-serving as any other fan base.

LOL. Good lord you're retarded. Jones signed with UF in 12', please enlighten me as to who was UF's coach at that time. Hint: Muschamp. And that was his second class at UF as 11' was his transition class, so fail. And yes, Tebow was recruited by many schools as a linebacker and even TE. Please stop posting.
