Rumor: Cristobal in the MIX

You guys are nuts!

Bama wouldn't be winning anything if it wasn't for their massive South Florida pipeline.

We need to shut that sheeeet down and put a new wall around the State of Miami. Rise up Canes!

Bama's O-Line just won the award for the best OL in the country. This board has gone full ******. The people that are hating on Cristobal can't even name another OL coach but they know Cristobal sucks. ***** getting old.

Id take mirabol over mario but dont kid yourselfs because ya id take mirabol over him but mario comes a really close second, both are good hires, yall just salty he left to bama and that has a factor in your decisions

You guys are fools not to want Mario on staff. He would kill down here I'm recruiting and his OLs at Bama are dominant. Don't know how much truth there is to this but we would lock down South Florida with this hire.

Does he suck? No.

But could we do better in terms of actual OL technical coaching? Yes.

Here are advanced OL stats for 2015. Bama wasn't in the top 10 in any category:
FOOTBALL OUTSIDERS: Innovative Statistics, Intelligent Analysis | 2015 NCAA OFFENSIVE LINE STATS

Dooh.....

Proof how stats can say anything....

According to this our oline was better than Alabama's in 3 catagories... SMDH!

Time to shut that site down...

If you think Alabama had a bad oline you never watched them play in one single game this year... **** you may have never watched a football game in your life.

Cristobal is not head coaching material here. But he is a great recruiter. And his tutelage under Saban has to mean something. There OL is darn good.

So the hate for Cristobal has to be less to do with actual coaching and rather who he is as a person. Yes he turned his back on us. Maybe he quickly realized Golden was a fraud and wanted no part of that dumpster fire. To top it off he gets an offer to get experience from the best in the game. You cannot hate on him for that. What sane coach would not do the same? In hindsight he was 100% correct in making the move. So for that I say bring him on.

Now if there are worries that he will not fully support Richt and will have his own agendas in mind, then yes do not want. I think Richt is smart enough to know if that will be the case.

Maybe but I have no clue how you or anyone can determine from watching games on TV which Olines are products of good technical coaching and which are not.
