Rumor: Cristobal in the MIX

One thing about Cristobal is that he would bring a fire and edge to the offensive line. Something we have needed a long time... He wouldn't stand for Miami f_cking up with missed blocks and penalties

Do you have any quantifiable evidence of that FIRE and EDGE?

Certainly would not be a bad hire if true. Just making a comment does not make it so. Secondly, how do you know and get to even suggest he's coming before the multitude of layers before getting to you?

Anyone who would not want Cristobal back as OL coach is a special kind of ******.

This and strength coach is the most important position left to fill. Need to knock it out the park with both those hires

I'm trying to think about Bamas OL to see where they sucked at this season?? So far can't see it.

Dude come on Bama oline was already elite , a trained seal could've guided these guys to similar results. It's Bama. Cristobal jus merged with the system.

If Mark Richt can pull Mario Cristobal, I'm saying it right now, Miami will be playing in the playoffs in 2018. E L I T E recruiter.

OMGZ MUCH GUD CROOTER

It's ****ing Alabama, if he's so good at recruiting then explain to me these stats he had as head coach

2007: 99th
2008: 85th
2009: 80th
2010: 85th
2011: 87th
2012: 76th

And before you say "It's FIU" he never had the #1 recruiting class in Conference USA.

That's because FIU played in the Sun Belt when he was there...

You right, fixed thanks.

This. Bama is stacked with talent and the best S&C program in the game today, yet Cristobal still managed to underachieve. His unit is not ranked in the top 10 in any category of the stats I posted earlier in this thread.

Miami needs a true technique coach to get our OL back on track. Not a guy to "get them fired up". They had that with Kehoe. It didn't work.

So because Bama is good at OL it means Cristobal isn't? Cool.

Top 3 recruiter in football that's well connected to HS football coaches/teams in S. Florida
Coached up an O-line that produced a 2000 yard rusher and Heisman winner this year
Coached up an O-line that has been so good at protection they are making a mediocre QB look good
Coached up an O-line that is strength of a team that played in the playoffs last year
Coached up an O-line that is the strength of a team that's playing in the championship game this season

Nahhhh, I'll pass. I want none of that goodness at Miami. Cristobal and that O-line sucks!!!

If someone can also explain why he is a good OL COACH as well other than "look at Alabama play, they're so gud".

Willie Taggart ran that conference while Mario was there.

Wouldn't hurt. He shouldn't be HC here but what's the down side of having him on staff? Some of you get your minds all wounded up and can't see past it

You obviously weren't around when he was our OL coach. Fire and edge? Smh...
