I agree, but attenuating his media roll to a somewhat lower speed might be somewhat helpful for his own public relations, and allow for quality control of the messaging.

Projecting incompetence is also deleterious if you’re trying to project wealth and power. Being ham handed and tone deaf does not inspire confidence, which is part of the message.
