I love how everyone is just so shook up that they have to make a new thread about it everyday...
The **** game ain't happening for another 4 months and we still don't even know who all the starters will be.
We haven't gone through the first wave of Fall camp injuries, we don't know who will be suspended by then either.
And the assumption that everyone keeps making is that Perry is going to struggle (which he probably will)...
Newsflash: So will Shirreffs or Rosier, neither of them has ever played in this game & we have no idea how they'll perform in those circumstances.
I hope one of the upperclassmen is the starter, but if you think playing this super conservative Offense where the QB doesn't have to make any big time throws will be enough to win, you're delusional.
It doesn't matter if it's Rosier, Shirreffs or Perry, in order to beat FSU, your QB has to make next level throws that challenge their secondary down the field, that 5yd checkdown **** y'all keep bumping is gonna have us down by 3 scores in the 1st half.
Take a look at all the QB's that have beat them over the last few years, Watson 2x, Justin Thomas, Greg Ward Jr, Lamar Jackson & Mitch Trubisky (who went 31-38 for over 400yds & they still only won on a FG).
Your QB is either gonna have to be **** near perfect, or rush for 100yds, but the strategy was always the same.
Every team that has beat FSU, attacked the **** out of their Defense & they didn't play scared "hope we don't lose" ball.
