How does this team’s roster line against a “very good” Miami team (11 wins, but not NC caliber)
QB: TVD a legit starter.
RB: Parrish is a change of pace 3rd down back. No one else plays.
WR: X might be a starter. Young might be a starter. Maybe one backup.
TE: 2 fringe starters. Probably backups.
OL: Zion is a borderline starter. No one else.
DL: No starters. Mesidor and Taylor might see 10-15 snaps.
Corner: No starters. Two backups.
Safety: No starters. 2 backups.
Lb: Two backups. No one else plays.
This roster has, being generous, maybe 4 guys that start out of 22 on a very good Miami team. And another 6 or 8 that might see meaningful snaps.
That’s it. That’s godawful.
This is a 7/8 win roster. I was told once by a fairly well known Power 5 coach that a good coach is worth two wins and a bad coach cost a roster two games…
We are probably going 5-7.
