Not sure if anyone posted about this, if so it nears repeating. Mailk’s Comments about
his 3 INT and how “this year my teammates let me
Know they had my back versus 4 years ago no one would talk to the QB” speaks
volumes about Richt and his staff and the culture he is building.

Kaaya was soft and nobody liked him and it was obvious to me at least. This team has a tight bond and it shows every Saturday. The culture has changed.

It had nothing to do with Kaaya and everything to do with the horrible coaches we had. No we have elite coaches. It matters.

I think it was more of an indictment on D'Onofrio. A guy that was probably too preoccupied with his own shortcomings to even think about creating a culture where his defense would reassure a QB after any struggle. The comments were a great sign of our current culture though.

Agreed.

When you have scumbags in charge that take zero accountability, that’s what you get. Nothing to do with Kaaya.

That comment had everything to do with Kaaya. Rosier has sacrificed himself and has put this team on his shoulders, he's not just a figurehead leader.

I didn't take it that way, I took it more of the environment around the team. From coaches down , toxic

Nah, its on the staff to create the culture that a team follows behind whether they "like" a guy or not.

Not sure kayaa didn’t have something to do with that. It’s no secret that kayaa wasn’t the most popular guy on that roster. But yeah, Alf and DNo didn’t help.

Yeah I don’t mean to absolve Kaaya, I just don’t think Malik was throwing him under the bus there. I think it was the old coaches.

It's Rosier's leadership and the respect he commands on the team. If the coaching staff created an environment for him to be a leader, then so be it, but this would not happen with just any QB.

I think it's pretty obvious that the players like Rosier.

A QB that shows some balls when the game is on the line certainly changes the culture of a program

Anyone else notice he was stripped of his title? Love it, earn it not given...

10 of 21 for 193 yards, 2 TD's, 3 INT's is putting the team on his shoulders?

My God we have a bunch of sentimental nincompoops here.

Your reading comprehension is remarkable.

People make up stuff about those that are perceived as "winner" guy.

All of the sudden attributes get assigned to them, plaudits get thrown their way, etc.

A 10 for 21 game would've gotten Kaaya killed by the fans. Rosier does it and he's a leader and a winner and teammates love him.

There's only one stat I care about and that's the win. You're conveniently leaving out his 13 carries for 84 yards. Those carries extended drives, put points on the board and kept the defense fresh. That's how you win. Rosier's not going to put up Kaaya's numbers but he's also going to win more games in his first season than Kaaya ever won in any of his 3 seasons.
