Can’t glean too much from any play in practice but that’s definitely an area he needs to improve on in terms of throwing on the run for sure.

Now i will also say that was a good throw and velocity by Perry, him and Williams seemed to do well with those type of plays in their film

And throwing while walking. And throwing while standing still.

I'm not going to kill the kid or take personal shots bc he's a Cane.

That said, a starting QB who needs to complete 65%+ in the season against pressure and chaos needs to complete 99% of those against air. I can accept being slightly off (high, behind) but not those dirt balls. The reason for the uproar is this continues to be a regular thing in both practice and games. For a successful starting QB, it can't.

It’s important for all UM fans to unite against our QB! We need to vanquish all hope and optimism based on last year and one practice throw.

I think that if we all share the same opinion that Malik is horrible and should be thrown off the team immediately that will make Coach Rick finally see the light and do what we demand.

He doesn’t suck , and the majority of the posters are speaking truth. He is what he is , inaccurate as **** and is streaky. I don’t get that’s bashing or ripping the guy. It’s just the obvious.

It’s not his fault he’s not the caliber of qb that should be starting at a power five program.

I’ll root for the guy and hope he balls out but don’t think I’m not prepared for what will happen. We will lose 2-3 games when we’ll be favorited all the way to the acccg. We’ll also be in a few dogfights with average / bad teams, and all this will more than likely be because of the qb position.

This team will probably still get double digit wins, it’ll be a lot like last year. At least that’s what it should be, even with Malik at qb.

True....why would somebody freak out about a 23 year old , rs Sr qb missing throws against air? Especially when there’s video of him doing this all the time.

Oh and he’s been inaccurate as **** his entire career.

Yeah, y’all are freaking out. Five yard routes against air are ******* to complete , especially in that Miami weather .
