Rooster to SMU?

Lol it’s funny that you think the acc is better than the aac. It isn’t
No such thing as the power 5 anymore. It’s the power 2. The gap between the other three and the G5 is minimal

Ok, I'll use it here, too.

there were a number of AAC teams that would have gotten to Charlotte the last few years and finished better than we did. people need to stop thinking there is a huge difference between a g5 and a lower tier conference like the ACC or Pac 12

The ACC has been Clemson and a bunch of teams that wouldn't win the AAC for a long time now.

Not to mention, SMU played the national runner up out of conference. Meanwhile, Miami's toughest non-conference game was against a 5-7 team.

Lashlee is gonna average 35 ppg with our "talentless guys" and ppl are still gonna say it was a lack of talent not coaching about our struggles last year.
And he’ll give up 35 a game in the process…while failing to close multiple games out because the running game will average 3 ypc with his 3 designed running plays that a toddler could scheme around.

156.2 and 4.1 ypc. last season.

Did u see the defenses n teams in the Coastal last year? Didn't seem much better than the AAC.
Yea but overall talent it's not even close the conferences SMU doesn't see what we see. I know it's the ACC and we think automatically it's trash (and rightfully so) but it's not close.

and Miami was worse with 128 a game and 3.7 ypc. Also sacks count against it so it isn’t really accurate of just the pure run game
Gattis' super deep running game playbook was a total flop.

SMU RB Coach - "Jaylan is hard-nosed, downhill, and you don't think that because 182 lbs, but he's a tough football player who runs violent and mean"

That perfectly sums up the blessing & curse of Knighton. Gotta respect his toughness, but a 180 lb RB who has the running style of a 250 lb FB isn't effective.

182 pounds is a non-NFL player at RB.

He'd be a 1st percentile player at his size in the NFL. There are players that have played in the NFL at a lighter weight at RB...say Darren Sproles, but he was over 190 at 5'6". Tarik Cohen was light at the combine (179 @ 5'6") but played in the NFL around 190. Deuce Vaughn will get a shot in the NFL at 5'5" 179. But at what...5'10" 182 for Knighton...thats non-starter, off the board dimensions for a RB.
