Some of y'all really don't get that an athletic director's job is way more than just football head coaching hires. By many other accounts, James is doing a fine job—regarding an AD's title—and is well-liked by UM's top brass.

There's literally no way he wouldn't hire Highsmith because that type of football success would ultimately get hire fired. Completely non-sensical.

You guys are wishing message boards ran the program. Your delusional to think a HC is going to come here if Highsmith is in charge and not the AD. Manny wanted to fill the position of a football operations guy. That is what the other programs have. They are under the HC. Fine you want Many gone but to think we should restructure the landscape of the football program that would kill the program. The interview was good.

I personally have no ill-will towards Manny. He’s got no business being our coach but thats not his fault.

He can improve, sure. Can’t be much worse. Just never envisioned Miami being a “learn on the job” place but we definitely are

both suck at their jobs. romberg does very little prep work and absolutely wasted the interview.

Zaslow is a wanna be lebatard without any talent. Also I feel bad for his wife cause he seems to have a inferiority complex since she’s more famous than him.(used to be a heat cheerleader)

Anything less than Romberg going full Mortal Kombat with a spine ripping out fatality power move on James would be less than well received in this forum.

Underrated post. It really is strange for him to be as public about this as he has been. Very out of character.
