If/when Cristobal does get a bunch of dawgs on the team who take losing very personally, it won't be long before he has a mutiny on his hands once the players get fed up with the terrible scheme, game planning, and constant losing to much less talented teams.

Having worked at places with good management and places with bad management - as a rule, the brightest and most talented people are the first to leave when there is bad management because they have no reason to stick around when they have opportunities all over the place. The worst workers, the ones who aren't getting job offers left and right, are the employees that management will reward for having "loyalty" and not chasing better opportunities.

Long story short - for those who think the solution to Cristobals woeful offense and defense is players who care more - Be careful what you wish for.

That conversation won't be going away in year 3 or 4 when we lose at UNC 27-19 while everybody else is scoring in the 40s
 
No amount of pride can overcome bad coaching and ****** scheme/playcalling. Best way to keep Duke from doing those types of gestures is to keep. them. out. of. the. end. zone. I mean what else do you want the players to do, go over there and start a fight, drawing more penalties, then have more people talk about how undisciplined and selfish the team is.

FAU, FIU, (and i imagine) USF have a majority of SFL players on their squad and terrible coaching aside (in FAU's case) are they having similar problems with spoiled, entitled SFL players or is it just a Miami thing.

Bad coaching creates bad culture. Players are an easy scapegoat because they're young, cant really speak out and are gone within a few years. If Miami was 6-1/7-0 no one would be saying **** about spoiled, entitled, diva players from SLFA. People blamed the players when Manny lost to FIU, Duke, and La Tech. spare me this tired narrative. The players do not trust Mario and aren't buying into his bullsh*t because they see the ****** results on field.
