Sorry, but this is a lot of bullsh*t because neither you nor I can quantify or prove this. "Lack of heart" and "culture" is a lazy way to explain failure.
I mean, do you know how many times I saw Wiggins, Pope, and Ivey on the intramural field the last several years doing work with a trainer on their own? A lot.
It's all about coaching and talent. Unfortunately, in both regards, we're lacking and/or underperforming. But, IMO, it's not because the kids don't care or don't work hard. Every program is recruiting the same kids. The idea that we're picking the ones with no heart isn't a viable excuse IMO.
