Roche

Just watched the Tulane game. Roche dominated. Six TFLs and 3 sacks.

Obviously he can get to the passer, but I love what he does against the run.
If you want to see the other end I’d say the worst I’ve seen are vs Cincinnati and SMU but neither are particularly bad he just doesn’t seem as engaged

His game/style kind of reminds me of the Curtis Weaver kid the Phins just picked up from Boise State. Hope he’s even half as productive for us as Weaver was last season, but we shall see. If you’re looking for a Canes *style* comparison, it’s closer to how Trent Harris was used here.

I just pray we don’t overuse games and stunts this season. Especially with predictable stuff with Rousseau inside. By season’s end, that was brutal to watch.

*As for the Phins, they got a better player in Weaver than they did in the 1st round with Charles Harris.

Roche, GR15, Harvey, Phillips. Man that rotation gives me wood. Then you have Blissett and the 3 Williams behind those guys.

Agree on the Weaver/Trent comp. Roche is more physical, which helps against the run. Weaver maybe a little more finesse and coordination, less burst.
