Robbery......Absolute Robbery

From what I have seen historically that is never a catch imo half second longer and it is
the AJ Brown comparison never moves when it hits his hands, with Lofton that **** moves a bunch. If it never moved it would be indisputable......to me it is what it is we played like scrubs most the season. After halftime vs Wake we have played up and down football

The ball is still moving in his hands when the ND defender knocks it out. He never has control and completes the catch. It was a great play by the defender and a bad play by Lofton. If Lofton makes that catch he goes down in the annals of history. But he’s bobbling the ball and it gets knocked out of his hands. Greentree All American. Not Game Day All American.
He also had an amazing rest of the game. Don’t be miserable

Men, no one really knows what a catch is. Earlier in the BYU/Utah game, Utah caught a pass, turned up field, and got leveled by the BYU defender, and fumbled the ball. BYU recovered. They called the pass incomplete. Fans don't know what a catch is. Players don't. Coaches don't. The referees don't. If the catch doesn't look "clean", but instead in any way awkward, it's going to be incomplete.

The problem is, on a goal line situation, a QB can take the snap, leap up, and just sneak the nose of the ball over the end zone, without any of his body actually crossing the goal line, and it's a TD. But that catch by Lofton, two hands on the ball, two feet down in bounds, but then has it ripped away while both feet are out of bounds is not a TD, but the former scenario is......the sport has a problem.
They have gotten way too technical with what a catch is so anything thats the slightest movement they go incomplete.

He didn't complete the cach. If a guy in a Notre Dame uniform makes the same exact play every one of you is screaming incomplete. I hope we get these ****ers in the playoffs
Hand On Shoulder GIF

I dont see a bobble at all. He has firm control when his feet come down. TD play is over.
I wanted six there just as bad as you did, but I’m not going to pretend he caught it. You can say you thought he had possession, but “I don’t see a bobble” is where you lose me. Watch his hands, not his feet. Being a Canes fan doesn’t mean we have to turn every incompletion into a conspiracy.

I did look at his hands. I don’t see any bobble. Not being a homer I genuinely don’t see what you think you see.
