No one sacks Carr. He’s been sacked liked twice this season.Add to that, don't allow a 50-yard pass on 4th down. And maybe, try to get at least one sack.
Yea. From what I saw out of Upshaw tonight and in other games. He isn’t a spotlight player, not sure he’s really even a #2 type of guy. Hopefully the younger guys pass him up, or cause a light to come on.Jacobs should not come out of the game. Just an fyi. He’s orders of magnitude better than Upshaw.

I’m going to have to find a replay, but the way I remembered it, Lofton caught the ball, had 2 feet down then stepped out of bounds while still holding the ball away from his body with possession. The defender then knocked it out of his hands. Receiver does not have to cradle/bring the ball to his body in order to establish control.
For those of you saying that it wasn’t a catch please explain your rationale. I legitimately want to hear the counter argument..
Please tell me where he failed assssMensah is not who we expected sorry but we will get our shotagain
Our inability to recognize a screen play or cover a back out of the backfield in the pass game should be studied. It’s quite remarkable.Add to that, don't allow a 50-yard pass on 4th down. And maybe, try to get at least one sack.
That’s a dumb take. Mensah through the 1st 1/2, sure. The actual best player and 1/3 of our offense got hurt at the end of practice (from what it sounds like) in the last full contact day of the week. Leading up to our biggest game this season. This team fought to get back in this game. Those red zone issues don’t happen with Toney there.Mensah is not who we expected sorry but we will get our shotagain
Caught ball. Got two feet down. Gets hit after taking additional step out of bounds.
Same problem in the NFL.Men, no one really knows what a catch is. Earlier in the BYU/Utah game, Utah caught a pass, turned up field, and got leveled by the BYU defender, and fumbled the ball. BYU recovered. They called the pass incomplete. Fans don't know what a catch is. Players don't. Coaches don't. The referees don't. If the catch doesn't look "clean", but instead in any way awkward, it's going to be incomplete.
The problem is, on a goal line situation, a QB can take the snap, leap up, and just sneak the nose of the ball over the end zone, without any of his body actually crossing the goal line, and it's a TD. But that catch by Lofton, two hands on the ball, two feet down in bounds, but then has it ripped away while both feet are out of bounds is not a TD, but the former scenario is......the sport has a problem.
Absolutely, there is no consistency across the league with the references you mentioned as well as targeting, see it happen all the time with the replay showing helmet or helmet but like tonight, it’s no penalty, and then go back to Lucas getting the targeting call (which it wasn’t) and having to sit out the 1st half of the NC game. Where the transparency??Men, no one really knows what a catch is. Earlier in the BYU/Utah game, Utah caught a pass, turned up field, and got leveled by the BYU defender, and fumbled the ball. The Domer Liars have chimed in.It was not a catch.
It was targeting. Not that it would have helped.
