Roast me all you want

Hahaha I mean it’s one game and we shouldn’t be anointing ourselves as national champs but that was an impressive win against a long time rival. We played a dominant clean game and Coaching wise those guys dismantled the Florida staff. Impressive and a great step in the right direction.

I also think the leadership on this team is much different than last year and it starts with QB1. Guy seems like he is on a mission vs our guy last year who was on a mission to make his tee time after practice.

Talent and depth is also completely different than last year as well. Don’t really think it’s much of a comparison based on what we have seen so far.

Disagree that talent is vastly different, we were talented last year too. Yes, we’ve level up in some spots, but I think it’s similar overall. That said, it was great to see us play a clean game and dominate those dip****s from the north.

We've got a loaded team. Not one of these "we're good!" but we've got busts and late day 3 guys at the top of the roster.

We're loaded with a star QB, star RB, star WR group and clearly a stacked TE room. OL one of the best in the nation. EDGE room is THE best in the nation when Bain is healthy.

This is a Top 10 team in the nation on paper, by the numbers, etc. And these aren't just players that are good here. These are players that were national names before they came here.

You can be scared all you want.

But not me.

We're winning the ACC and going to the CFB Playoffs.

We beat them worse in their place than Georgia did on a neutral field. It was a great win and we should improve.

We were a good team last year with bad qb play and depth issues. A lot of those problems have been corrected. Keep in mind, this is year 2 for Dawson and Guidry. The guys understand their assignments much better. Limit the penalties and turnovers and you may see a drastically different result.

This game feels like the Texas AM game where we were ready to anoint this team as being back. UF was terrible last year and wasn’t expected to have a very good team this year so we beat a mediocre team at their home. I liked what I saw overall but didn’t like the constant throwing against his body that Cam did and didn’t like the usual dumb decision by CMC to leave in the starters well after the game was over.

I expect CMC to cost us at least a game or two by his poor decisions. We have a favorable schedule but I’m not drinking the kool aid yet and hope the team stays focused.

This theme reminds me of an important lesson and quote I was taught in my teens by my father and grandfather - “there’s no such thing as a bad BJ; just some that are better than others.”

The UF game was like being relieved by 2005 Jenny McCarthy. TAMU was like getting serviced by present day Melissa McCarthy.

Roasting usually involves slow cooking something that has substance to it, I’m sorry to inform you we can’t do that with you.

You make it hard to underestimate you.

You may not be the dumbest person on the planet, but you better hope they don't die.

Your face looks like someone tried to put out a forest fire with a screwdriver.

If you’re that scared, go to church lil fella

Its normal to not believe in the hype after one game but its also easy to see this team has a much higher ceiling than last year team. You dont get huge upgrades at qb, rb, dline and stay the same lol

And mario probably left the starters in because he didn’t wanna burn redshirts when our next 3 games the young guys will play alot

1. Texas A&M put up a bunch of yards and points in that game and stayed in the game until the end
2. We had a bunch of mistakes
3. We were home
4. A&M was not that good in the end (more talent but about the same year as Fla)
A&M was also a highly ranked team loaded with talent and we were expected to lose so I consider that win bigger at the time. We found out later that they sucked, I wouldn’t be surprised if UF loses this week against SAM.
