Only thing with RJ is hes not that STRONG. But in a scheme in the nfl that allows him to get upfield..he will eat...when he is on the move at times this year hes been unblockable.

The minute i saw him in person when we recruited him..i knew he would be something. Kid looked like a college sophomore then
 
No doubt in my mind that he'll be a day one or two guy and leave early. Best DT we've had in years, he'll be missed
 
He should stay & enjoy his college experience and play for a MNC. Ed Reed played as a fifth year Senior and he's an NFL HOFer. Hopefully, a bunch of the better players stay & mature one more year and then play for a MNC next championship. Their draft status would improve further & they would be more ready.
 
His conditioning is off the charts too. I saw him giving tremendous effort late in the game, and they'd cut to him and he'd be barely breathing.
 
He's had a solid season and has been a beast the last 2 games. GT and Cuse's interior are not good at all. I want to see him dominate Q Nelson and ND's run game and I'll be convinced.

Lol dude is one of the best DTs in football and will be drafted in the top 3 rounds, regardless of whether he "convinces " you or not . And demanding that he dominate nd's ol filled with nfl caliber players itself is retarded- if he plays them to a draw that would be perfectly fine.
 
He's a beast but don't sleep on Norton.

He's just as good/valuable as Mcintosh is IMO.

Man if we somehow get both of these dudes to come back next season.....

If he was one of the best he'd be a sure fire 1st rd pick. Great DT's are never neutralized, not sure what you've been watching. I'm also not saying he won't do it. I love our chances against ND because of our DL and depth at that position.

If he was one of the best he'd be a sure fire 1st rd pick. Great DT's are never neutralized, not sure what you've been watching. I'm also not saying he won't do it. I love our chances against ND because of our DL and depth at that position.

Are you retarded? Vince wilfork was one of the best ever and he was neutralized at times. Warren sapp got his *** wrecked by Nebraska. Every player at every position gets neutralized at times.

And no, Being one of the best DTs in any year is no longer a guarantee of first round draft status. Only 4 DTs were drafted in the first round in the past THREE drafts. Being one of the best DTs eg top 5 or 10 doesn't guarantee jack in the draft anymore.

No matter what happens at nd, RJ is one of the best DTs and will go in the top 3 rounds.

First of all fvck off. Second of all, while I think he's had a very good season he ain't Ed Oliver, Wilkins, Lawrence or Hurst. And it's not his fault but he's hardly gone up against any great Olines so let's see him dominate against a first round interior lineman. He's not gonna get doubled every play the way Sapp and Vince were so let's see him win one on ones against Nelson.
Look I love the dude, he's been our best DL this year on an amazing DL. But let's not ******* crown the guy or even bring him up in the same sentence as Vince or Sapp until he has his moment.
