Riley was not close to being drafted at the University of Miami, he was TE3 and produced nothing. Horton wasn't close to being an NFL WR as WR4 at Miami. It's not hard to judge Horton at DT because he has been in college for 4 years now and has done next to nothing.I see you believe potential NFL talents are JAGs simply because they aren’t fully developed.
Riley at Miami this year and next ends up making it in the NFL.
Horton at WR has the talent to make an nfl roster. My concern for him, he doesn’t have a great route tree but that is something he can change with work.
Horton at DT- it is hard to judge 20yo kids at DT.
Do you really think Moten is a jag?

The NFL is a barometer for elite talent not really JAG. Their are plenty of impact college players that aren't NFL caliber. JAGs are players that don't elevate the team in any capacity. They are bodies on the team that may make a play here or there, but they arent difference makers. Moten is going to have a chance this year to solidify where he stands as of now yes he has been JAG.
(JAG=just a guy)
You should go back and read the post you replied to, specifically the second paragraph. Riley is a junior and spent last year getting passed by a TF Lofton. How much BAMA paid has no bearing on whether or not someone is JAG. They also tried to outbid for TYLER VAN DYKE!So any kid that isn’t a NFL player is a jag to you.
Riley Williams is a true sophomore. As a true freshman he was the number 3 at Miami behind an nfl TE and Lofton. He actually had a few plays that showed he had a potential future not just at Miami but in the NFL. He still has 2 more years to turn that corner. At 6’5 275, he has the hands and speed to play at a high level. Sadly, I don’t think he has the heart. That is the only reason he goes from nfl talent to jag.
Horton is a junior. You can say he is a jag but bama paid him more money than we wanted to pay. He still has two years to play and very well could make the NFL. Even if he doesn’t, playing for ranked teams shows he isn’t a jag. He would very likely start at Miami over Marion.
Horton DT- I bet you had Moten as a jag as of last year. Horton can also turn the corner as a senior.
Why don’t you define a JAG? Is it all non-nfl kids?
So any kid that isn’t a NFL player is a jag to you.

No but I am high as a kite on morphine and oxy post major surgery. Lol pardon me if my thoughts aren’t clear.Do you have some sort of condition where you live a year behind the current? If so, that would explain this post.
No but I am high as a kite on morphine and oxy post major surgery. Lol pardon me if my thoughts aren’t clear.
I’m still wondering how he defines jags. We agree on 87.
I guess every kid is a jag unless they start and perform at a high level. It doesn’t matter if a future nfl starter is ahead of them…you didn’t beat them out so you are a jag!

Josh has never really played and has done nothing. He would be basically DT #5 here and wouldn’t be playingI think we could use both Hortons this year, and they made awful, stupid decisions to transfer where they did, so **** em.
He had 7 catches for 50 yards in the 2 games we lost. He put up numbers in our two late season blowouts against FSU and Duke, but he was a JAG after the Cal game when it mattered. We'd still be better off if he were here though (and he'd be better off too). Would of been nice to have a 6'4" possession receiver since our passing game not very explosive this year.So Horton last year was the number three behind X and George in the top offensive in the country. How is that not someone that elevated the team?
I haven’t heard a “who” from Horton since he left.![]()
Nice to have would mean he elevates the team thus not JAG.He had 7 catches for 50 yards in the 2 games we lost. Moten flashed last year as a sophmore. He is a junior this year. Horton has never did anythingSo any kid that isn’t a NFL player is a jag to you.
