Riley Williams and Isaiah Horton

We have three transfers who are playing decent ball -- Brinson at SMU, Chris Graves at Ole Miss, Kelly over at UCF. Darrell Jackson if you even count him.

We have a bunch of guys that are contributing on P4 teams. CJ would probably have the same role with us as he has for Lashlee, so I think that one's a lose/lose. Jaleel Skinner is with the ones at Louisville. Nice kid, bad fit for the blocking TE Mario demands. Kaleb Spencer starts for Va Tech at LB. Zion Nelson -- yes THAT Zion Nelson -- splits starting reps at LT for SMU. Looking forward to seeing how Bain and Mesidor greet him when we play. Karnley is in the rotation at UVA. Robert Stafford starts at UCLA and Dyoni Hill starts for Wisconsin. Might explain why those teams are so bad this year.

We have another group that found homes. Jaden Wayne is second team for Cal, nothing special. Jamil Burroughs is second string DT at Mississippi State, nothing special. Savion Riley second string S at Ga Tech now, nothing special. Freeney benchwarmer at Boise State. Tripp starts at RG for FIU. Ajay Allen is 3rd back and rotates in at Tulsa. Robby Washington is in the rotation at Coastal Carolina, has 114 yards receiving in 4 games. Zaquan Patterson landed at Alabama State after being dismissed from the team at Oklahoma State. Shemar Kirk starts for Austin Peay at WR, has 150 receiving yards in 3 games. Rudolph is third string DE at UNLV. Poffenbarger is QB2 at North Texas. Tre'vonte Citizen is at McNeese State and putting up decent stats now. Given his injury, good to see he rehabbed his way back onto the field.
Really thought ajay would be getting starting snaps

Horton wasnt a world beater but he could have helped us and helped himself being in the system for 3 years and being a leader.
I’d take Daniel’s.. he’s made catches Horton could never make. And on the leader piece everything coming out has said he’s been a leader by example and working with the younger guys about “being a pro”

Let’s not forget he was at liberty and worked his *** off to get to this level and performance. Glad he’s a cane

Zion Nelson, wow. I sincerely hope his knee holds up, terrible how things played out for him.

It's wild to think he was starting for us as a Freshman LT when we played UF back in 2019! His college career spans long enough that by the end of it he'll have reps against both Mike Pinckney and Marquise Lightfoot.

I was fairly annoyed at Riley Williams leaving. Felt his blocking and athletic potential could help us out greatly, along with his knowledge of the offense over playing in it.

Seeing that he is second-string on a 0-4 football team that gets their **** kicked in almost every season confirms two things for me:

1. Above all, I'm an idiot.
2. Followed up by that, young people aren't focused on the right things.

It's crazy how many highly-rated mediocre/below average players we have signed over the years. No wonder we sucked lol

If I remember correctly, Williams’ mom or dad was all on Twitter complaining about how UM only wanted him to block and wasn’t using him as a receiver. Home boy has only made an appearance in two games and caught one pass so far this year. He likely would have been our starting tight end. Sometimes you just gotta learn about the grass not always being greener.

Riley would be starting here IF he wanted to play football. He just ****ed away millions! Zero chance he makes an nfl roster.

Horton at DT would be our 4th but he still wouldn’t get tons of snaps as Blount plays DT during our nascar package.

Horton at WR would likely start ahead of Marion but wouldn’t get all the snaps like Toney/Daniels. He would really help us on deep routes, imo.

Harris isn’t good.

Good assessment. Agree with everything except Harris. It's not that he isn't good, he's flat out terrible. I'm still confused as to why UGA accepted him as a transfer. Dude shouldn't be playing for an FBS squad, let alone teams like UGA or Miami.

Agreed, the only thing missing this year is more mediocre receiving threats. We really could have used 2 more average *** players. Any chance we can get them back next offseason?

Get who back? I’m not sure any of them are worth it

Any of the JAGS you all can't resist clamoring for.
Riley > 87 if Riley actually cared about football. 87 is a jag imo. The sooner Gilbert and Schott take his snaps, the better our team will be.
Horton isn’t a JAG. He just took more NIL.
Harris is a bad JAG.
Horton(dt) is tbd if he is a jag. Dt takes years. Look at Moten…kid is about to get paid and he was a jag 3 years ago.

From your reply I can see you don't have a firm grasp of what a JAG is. All 4 of those guys are JAGs. Whether you have affinity for them or not wont change that. I do agree #87 is a JAG as well hopefully we see less of him immediately.

I see you believe potential NFL talents are JAGs simply because they aren’t fully developed.

Riley at Miami this year and next ends up making it in the NFL.
Horton at WR has the talent to make an nfl roster. My concern for him, he doesn’t have a great route tree but that is something he can change with work.
Horton at DT- it is hard to judge 20yo kids at DT.

Do you really think Moten is a jag?
