Richt will never lead us to #6

That’s a lie. According to inside the U Coker pulled a number 2 ranked class, 4, 3 and 5 ranked classes in consecutive years. They didn’t all pan out but as ppl have said be4 recruiting under Coker wasnt the problem, at least As far as the rankings are concerned..So that theory is debunked... And at UGA for 15 years MR had his share of top 10 majority of his time there along with some top 5 classes. Kirby has pulled in the number 6, 3, and 1 respectively. But to sit there and pretend that Kirby didn’t hit the ground running with a loaded cupboard provided by the previous staff is wrong.

1st off G. Willis was a MR transfer. 2nd other than quan the other u brought up were confirmed as JAGS b4 this staff developed them. Especially MJ who many here called to transfer just b4 last season...all the top players aside from quan are MR kids..Jeff Thomas, MR. Joe jack, MR. Garvin, MR. Richards, MR. Shaq n pink, MR. Bandy, MR...he “favors” 12 yet he has given Perry’s immature *** chance after chance to take over. But this dude on ig counting stacks
 
Which one of those I listed are not top players on this roster or can’t play? At every position group on this team the best player is a MR kid in fact

That makes no sense 😂😂 they were just in the NC game with more of MRs roster than they have this year. Chubb, Michel the bell cows of that O were MR kids. Isaiah Wynn, MR. Lamont galliard, MR. On D Raquan Smith, MR. Thompson, MR. Deandre Baker, MR...and that best olineman that plays is a MR left over in galliard who we recruited as a DT. Even that mecole, Riley and nauta class has to be a credit to MR because those kids were committed for a long time b4 MR was let go..no doubt Kirby has recruited well on paper. But just like with Coker, his immediate success was with MRs roster and a lot of that core were already established players. That’s not even debatable.

And if you want to play the development and transfer argument, Richards, Shaq, Pinkney, Joe Jackson were all golden recruits who came out balling their freshmen year.

That is bull****. Recruiting rankings in the early 2000s was far less accurate. In those days something like 30% of 5 stars ended up making an NFL roster. Now its closer to 90%. As you stated they did not pan out. Butch recruited more HOFers and elite college players than Coker did. He had a good team, but it is nothing compared to what Kirby is building.
 
We've been an elite team like 4 years out of the last 25. People on here act like Richt has run a Ferrari into a ditch.

You do realize the furthest Richt had ever went was with the previous coaches recruits as well right? Basically Richt left him with some good players and he was able to win the big games. Something RIcht was never able to do. However, look at richts roster management. They are suffering from his recruiting right now.

If Richt’s mismanagement of the roster is the reason UGA is not goodthis year, shouldn’t they have been worse last year when they had more of Richt’s guys on the roster?

No...It means he had 1 stacked class and followed it up with a very mediocre class. His line and DB recruiting was lacking for this class which is why they have so many young guys there.

Richt won con chips ther too. My main point on uga is. The only pedigree that program has is the fact they play in the SEC. Their best stretch of success was under MR.. now for who took over a better situation, once again that’s kirby. MR left him a full cupboard. Much like the previous successful coach here inherited a full cupboard(Coker).. MR took over a program that couldn’t even field a 3 deep depth chart or sign a full recruiting class . And the success he had last year was a mix in terms of the core players who were the leaders on that team. But even MR s last year at UGA they went 9-4 I believe with a bowl win if I remember correctly. This myth that MR has never won big games is dumb. UGA was always a middle of the road program

Yup and 50 percent of those con chips where with the previous coaches recruits as well. You may not follow HS football, but the Georgia HS boom started a couple years prior to Richt coming to UGA. With the talent that comes out of Georgia(currently 4th most NFL players). Richt had some of the richest football boosters in the nation, in the 4th most talented state, while being the only good P5 team in the state. Anyone could pull top classes in that situation. As you see with Kirby he has blown Richts recruiting out of the water. He has pulled more blue chip OL in 3 years than Richt did in 15. He has already pulled the most 5 stars in 1 class of all time. It also isn't a myth. Richt has won a couple big games, but also blew WAY more.

So you want to go off rankings with Kirby with no proof of how that will pan out. But disregard rankings under coker. You want to use “alternative facts” or “your own truth” lol..ok. And where did you get those percents from? They are total bs..per BR from ‘02-08 47 percent of 5 stars went undrafted..per 247 sports only 19 former 5 stars were even drafted at all this past draft. As To 107 3 stars who were . And looking back a few years that narrative is the same. So your modern day ranking theory is wrong..but as to what Kirby is “building” again yes it looks good on paper just like or ‘08 class looked good on paper. Just like how Texas always has a top 10 class. Just like usc always recruits well..on paper.
