“Asked Richt if he remains convinced if this is offensive scheme/style to use going forward or would going to spread be tempting, with fast athletes in S. Fla. Declines to answer, says he will answer no such questions at this time.”

And then this doozy

“Asked Richt if plans to use Jarren or Weldon at all: "I'm tempted to win the game. I guess people don't see that as a premium, but I do."

You can’t be an ******* when you’ve lost 8 out of the last 13 games

What a defensive bum. Someone put him out of his misery

Why would he? He's already answered more questions than he has plays in the playbook. So everything's already been covered.

Losing can make you get bitter or better. Richt is taking the Golden approach.

For such an offensive mind, he really has been playing defense with the media.

He sure doesn't seem to be handling the pressure as well as one would expect someone with his background to. I still say had he known then what he knows now he never would have taken the job.

Sounds like a guy hanging on the last thread of a rope that’s burning on both ends. Of course he’s going to be defensive; this crap show of an offense he thought up, shows he doesn’t know what he’s doing. Couple that with questionable hires across the board offensively and it all adds up to the sh** storm swirling around his head currently. He’s either too stupid or stubborn to see the ship is sinking, and will probably not go out without a fight.

If he had autonomy for hiring/firing coordinators and coaches, then expect more of the same for 2019 because he’s too stupid to make any changes. We’ll spend the entirety of Spring and Fall camps working on nothing but execution drills in mad hopes he believes that’s all we need to correct. Meanwhile Perry and/or Weldon or Williams will keep running the same old stale passing drills ran by none other than Pastor Richt’s golden boy son who wouldn’t know a QB drill if it hit him squarely in the nuts.

Lol realistically what did you expect him to say? My offense is antiquated and sucks...

"It is late in the season to make a change. Obviously this season has not met expectations, and most of that is on the offense, which ultimately means me as the play caller. Our plan is to do what we can to beat Virginia Tech and Pitt, and then during our bowl practices get as many young guys meaningful reps as possible. This off-season we will be re-evaluating every aspect of the program. There are no sacred cows. Obviously changes need to be made in every aspect of our system, from offseason conditioning all the way to our game day adjustments."

That is fairly cliche but at least it's better than "we're good here, **** off".

I wonder if he said verbatim "I will answer no such questions."?

If so, I can almost* respect that level of *****iness.

Ohhhh, Pastor Rick. The honeymoon has officially come to an end, eh?

If he had to face the brutality that Folden faced from the fans he’d have quit already.

This dude wants nothing to do with being grilled. Super sensitive guy. He refused to go on a satellite radio college football show I listen to because they criticized him.
