Richt has a point.....and offensive chemistry

The quick slants was an adjustment in the BC game then Malik forces one into double coverage. We probably ran that one too many times, but again I'm saying it is on the coaches to get the players executing the play calls, but the whole its the play calls crap is overblown
If you say it enough times does it become true?

As much as the QB's have struggled IMO the blame falls on the soft shoulders of the "offensive" line. Their inability to do much of anything keeps us from getting any sort of running game going that would relieve some pressure off the passing game. I knew we were screwed when we couldn't run on Savannah St.

OL has been a disaster for all 3 years under Richt. Their names have changed but results the same. Poor coaching and an offense that the opposing team knows what is coming vast majority of plays is.the constant for them all 3 years. Time to quit blaming the players and place blame where it belongs. You could name all the OL,s on one hand that might look good with this coachinb

Look I'm disappointed in Richt also but he does have a point with the talent we have we should be able to run the most basic plays and beat teams like UVA and BC, the execution is still on the coaches to coach these guys up, but I think the play calling thing is blown out of proportion

I also saw the coaches talking about rotating too many guys and I think that's a good point also, I get we are loaded at WR but we should only play the top guys. How do you ever get into a rhythm playing multiple QB's and way too many receivers imo. Same thing with the oline. I hope I don't get killed for this post I'm not saying Richt should be O coordinator

Sure helped about against BC

The scheme needs to change no doubt. He needs an Aaron Murray type talent to run it and those aren't easy to find and we for sure do not have one on the roster at this point. Maybe Jarren can be that guy but that would be risking a lot if he is not and the scheme hasn't changed to fit his skillset and to get our athletes the ball in space.

All that being said 50% of our problem is the QB. Rosier's career passing percent is around 50% and below that his last like 6 games. That is awful. I don't care what scheme you run. Perry's wasn't much better.

Perry has a ton of work to do in the offseason. I really hope Jarren takes over because Perry just doesn't seem reliable from what I have seen and heard.

When your play calling becomes predictable it is hard to gain yardage on any P5 school it’s not the type of plays he calls is the timing it’s the same thing every time. Sometimes you have to switch it up to keep the defense off balance but when he switches it up the personnel and the ball placement (depends on what hash mark it is on) gives the defense an 80% chance of guessing the right play. Because Mark sticks to his tendencies

These CIS poRsters still traumatized by Al Golden bc they held on to his nuts for so long defending him..... all of the attacks are just some scorned women shxt there hurt it takes time to heal those deep rooted wounds.

Richt supposedly got in a bidding war for Searels, think about that for a second. Our o-line has been s-hit for the third year in a row and Richt pushed for this offensive line coach. Enough of blaming the players for everything that is wrong with this team. It's year 3 and the improvements to the run blocking have been non-existent. I don't want to hear about "wait til he has his guys in there". The fact of the matter is they should already have their guys in there being that it's year 3. This should be a red flag that there is a clear problem with development happening in Coral Gables. This all goes without saying that they should have found more ways to scheme around the deficiencies to at least mask some of the problems.

The late honorable great John W. Wooden once told a cub sports reporter... A coach schemes and game plans and implement offensive plays to SUIT his players strengths and HIDE their relative limitations. Go figure. No wonder Coach Wooden won those multiple NC's. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Coach Wooden had the prime time players in plush swank Westwood.

I personally don't believe the kid will be in Thee Gables next off season. Because all the Orange and Green signs are pointing towards a transfer. But then again, I could be wrong.

Dont worry bout people, you speaking facts man, for people to act like coach richt dont know what he's doing is comical to me. Coach richt is right, to many on here blinded by their emotions, and worst off, these nerd websites and their mel kiperish star rankings. Its not all rosier, the facts are simple man, last year we had a more experienced offense, particularly on the o-line, mcdermont, darling, gauthier, and st. Louis, and than of course navaughn came in as a true freshman and did work. Than we had herdon, berrios, the 2 biggest outlet valves for rosier, Ahmon, jt4, with walton starting off.

That was enuff offense to help get 10 straight wins. We come to this year, we got louis at left tackle, below average, Jahir jones at guard, way below average, gauthier, solid, hayden, physically way below average and navaughn at tackle starting out, below average. With that line, that automatically told me in the spring the running game was gone be trash, and if you remember, none of the runningbacks did much. Than irvin gets hurt, so more solid blocking out the window, anybody that knows football know you need good blocking tightends, we got true freshmen trying to block, and people wondering why this offense is where its at. Add to that Ahmon being done, jt4 started out on fire but teams have gotten smart, just double him and force everybody else to prove themselves, and so far, we get what we got.

Coach richt knows how to call plays, in fact, he's doing some of his best work right now, to be able to put up points with this offense is impressive. The decline of this offense goes back to the injuries and the graduations afterwards. People screaming for perry, i never thought he should be starting, i thought he should be groomed by bringing him in on series, i could tell in the Savannah st. game. Anyway, this coaching staff is doing a great job developing the players, those already calling for coach richt's job should join the circus.

The man has only been here 2.5yrs, its obvious the talent has been upgraded, just growing pains, people who are suppose to be UM fans telling people not to go to the games and even trying to discourage recruits to come, imagine if these same sights were around when butch davis was just getting started. Can you imagine what this board would have been like after this game, but some of those same people are calling for him to be back although they would've crucified him after this:

You are thinking Williams leaves to then sit another year?

Preach on brother. Your preaching has a lot more merit than Pastor Richts.

lol at this. FSU has a terrible offensive line, worse than Miami's OL, yet somehow they figured out how to score 27 points against one of the most pressure creating, chaos inducing, tfl defenses in college football. Just how did they do that? I know one things for sure, they sure as **** weren't calling plays even I could predict. The same plays that don't work over and over again. It's real hard to execute a play when the defense **** well knows what you're going to do.
There are a bunch of reasons this offense is terrible but there's only one person responsible for it.

Yost or Briles would average at least 35 points a game with the same OL and QB. It's scheme boys! The freaking scheme does not work. It's too easy to defend and the talent level is minimized when your opponent knows what you're going to do.

Stop blaming the OL. They have their shortcomings so don't continue to put them in a situation they cannot win. Watch how Paul Johnson use his OL to gash our defense because the offense will leave them on an island. Be afraid of Duke and VT as well. Watch their blocking (SCHEMES) as they know they are at a disadvantage talent wise but they will take Richt to school on their schemes.

Blame the CEO!

they scored 14, but yes our OC definitely sucks.

Crown the poster............. Post of the season!

If you mongoloids have learned anything over the last 20 years of failed coaches it should be that as soon as you start hearing “the players need to execute better” that means the coach sucks and is fcked.
