Richt has a point.....and offensive chemistry

I don’t have an agenda...where we you guys last year complaining about the play calls now all of a sudden Richt should be fired. I clearly said he shouldn’t be the OC but I do agree that the team needs to execute better which to me is the bigger problem idc what plays you run the O-Line play is bad and so is the QB and yes that’s on coaching but you guys all want to sound so smart with its the play calls

I don't know why fans explaining what the issues are seem to you like they are trying to be smart.

There are real issues here and just saying execute is not going to solve them. A coach can't blame execution for about a year. It should have been fixed. Any reasonable rational person knows by now that there are deeper issues if he can't get them to execute for such a long period.

Calling the same plays over and over does not help the players execute...it makes it 1000x harder and you have to consider that when you say just execute. When the D knows whats coming (which is not an opinion...teams have stated as much) then it makes it 1000x harder to execute. When you don't attack the entire filed you make it easier on the D and harder on the O to execute.

So just saying executing is not the answer. There are real reasons why the O is trash and just saying do better is not going to fix it. The last three coaches that have been fired here all started claiming execution was the issue and not their coaching...do you really think the fans were trying to sound smart with them as well?

I’ve said the offense was horrible after a few games in Richt first season. I didn’t want him hired in the first place partly bc of his underachieving offenses.

Offense is seasons 1 and 2 were mediocre/bad. Season 3 is down right awful.

The play calling is bad. However his system/scheme is much worse. He’s as bad as Patrick Nix

Right...the fans know more than Richt who’s been coaching at a pretty high level for 2 decades and up until this season y’all loved him but you’re right I should listen to you guys the coaching gurus

Seeing the product on the field after 3 years in charge .... fans know that this ain't "pretty high level" work... so stop peddling kool aid

Look I'm disappointed in Richt also but he does have a point with the talent we have we should be able to run the most basic plays and beat teams like UVA and BC, the execution is still on the coaches to coach these guys up, but I think the play calling thing is blown out of proportion

I also saw the coaches talking about rotating too many guys and I think that's a good point also, I get we are loaded at WR but we should only play the top guys. How do you ever get into a rhythm playing multiple QB's and way too many receivers imo. Same thing with the oline. I hope I don't get killed for this post I'm not saying Richt should be O coordinator
Good coaching is why teams like Washington State is able to beat Oregon and Stanford. Poor talent is why WSU drops a game vs inferior opponents. Happening less and less up there.

Mark Richt is the Mark D'Onofrio of offense. I like MR a lot, but if he doesn't replace **** near his entire offensive staff, and give up play calling, he needs to go.

He was brought in to exceed last 15 years' results... and year 3 shows no signs of it ...

Bro we won 10 games last year...yes this might be a step back this year but even last year we played above our heads...the ND game and the turnover chain really made y'all believe we were close to being back. I'm willing to give this thing time, that's just me
