Didn't think the begging for fan attendance would have started this soon. He must be getting heat from Julio. Almost sounds like he's on a short leash. Perhaps there are unknown contract attendance stipulations that give UM an easy out? One can pray that the Hot Seat burner has been just turned on.

This is miami, the seat is always hot.......................specially with the delusional fan base we got. Many who are clamoring about the current record (which I agree sucks) are the same ones that expected a NC. richt will either work it out or he wont. Too soon to start the fire Richt train. That wont deter the banner crew nor will it keep them from jumping on richt's balls if and when he starts winning.

Or for every time he runs the I-formation and calls a running play out of it and it gains less than 2 yards( that doesn't get a first down), we get a rebate of $5 a pop

I can't believe the asinine hatred for a guy who's trying to give us a winning program. What, did you think we already had Alabama caliber players stacked on our roster? That he would start winning from day one? You could have Jesus for a coach, and he'd still preach patience. You guys either need to help build this program back to a winning one by showing up, for games, for recruits, and yes, for losses too. Or quit calling yourselves Cane fans. You plain suck for fans. Guess what, you guys are the "Prunes out of abuela's ***" that this program has, and with this attitude, this program will always be mediocre in appeal. The U deserves better.
I think 35-40k show up which is all he can hope for when you are 4-4 and have lost 4 straight. **** if I were him I dont think i would want a full house in case he losses the **** game and fans boo him back into the locker room. That would be more embarassing then a half full stadium.

Good post OP! However, You will notice that 98% of the replies come from a franchised loser fan base that has never been to a game all year. Let alone the fact they have been complaining about the team and coaches since the beginning of time. For example, We have practically a brand new stadium and this nut two spaces above is complaining about not coming because of trivia questions. WTF!!! Unfortunately, they all are like a bunch of termites anyways! Constantly eating away at the program...

People who are fans of sports teams go to as many games as they can, whether they are winning or losing. That's what being a fan means. If you have the opportunity to go to games and you don't, you're not really a fan.
Not only is the experience of tail gating and watching football fun, it also directly helps our team through support and showing future and current recruits that there is a legitimate fan base that isn't going to bail as soon as things get tough. That is important.
