Richt and Jarren Williams

I agree with both your posts above re coaching. I wasn't at all trying to minimize the impact of absolute **** poor coaching by Richt Jr. I'm just saying, regardless of WHY he wasn't ready, I personally don't believe there was some grandiose conspiracy plan as to why Williams wasn't on the field. I just don't think he was ready to fully manage a game; in large part due to not being developed properly, I agree.

I’m thinking that our QB situation will depend on how good Enos is at developing them... if he is as good as advertised, we’ll be fine regardless of whether the starter is Jarren, Martell or even perry.
If Enos can help our QBs the way he did Hurts, I think we could have something special, because I thought Hurts was awful at reading defenses. He held the ball to long and processed information to slow which is why he often pulled the ball down and ran. This past season he looked like a different QB although we only saw a small sample size.

I get not playing him for the LSU game... but **** by midseason he should have a really good understanding of the playbook with some basic audibles if he sees a certain look by the defense..

No reason after UVA,BC, Duke why he didnt get some serious burn over Rosie and Perry

I think him not playing in the bowl game was the biggest slap to his face as well

It seemed Mark Richt only played who he didn't have a great relationship with. He told Rozier you'll never be my starting QB... HE WAS. N'Kosi was a knucklehead with Multiple problems off the field. Case Weldon got some playing time and got suspended time too. Jarren Williams is the only one without SERIOUS Jon Richt drama. You imagine going out on the field after Jon Richt said your ready and having no answer for the Blitz

You don’t have to believe me so TIFWIW, but it’s a combination of all the above.

He didn’t know the playbook well enough, he gained a little weight, was being “saved” for later, and preferential treatment was in effect.

No he wasn’t quite ready, but it wasn’t a fair battle either.

Put the blame on both coaches not able to develop players nor prepare them for the game.we all saw it when defense's adapted to defending perry.Perry started hot once defense's adjusted Perry didn't have a clue what to do.Perry failed to adapt as well coaches failed to prepare him to what the defense's were doing to defend him.plus both Perry's and Williams maturity didn't help either.

I’d argue that Jarren wasn’t ready to play because his coaching wasn’t capable of getting him ready to play.

I think we’re gonna find out that our qb situation isn’t as bad as we thought. But the coaching situation was worse.

I'll go on record saying that I would not be surprised if Jarren Williams beats out Tate Martell.
