Richardson... Another gator bust

Once again the worst top five qb I’ve ever seen picked. He did literally nothing special at any level including hs . There’s so much more to qb than height , weight and arm strength.
I mean he didn’t just have the build. He also has the athleticism. He’s literally the best athlete+build to ever come out at qb.

He sucks, and his probability of hitting was always low. Honestly the jets or rams should trade something cheap for him. You never know what could happen with a guy that inexperienced once he gets some.

If I were the Colts I’d have 100% started him over Daniel Jones. With Jones there’s really no hope he ever becomes a legit starter. With Richardson there’s is

Jobs are on the line & Indy at least thinks Jones initially gives them best chance to win. A healthy Jones has some experience & is serviceable. Won’t lead Indy to the promised land, either.

I get it. Sucks being a fan of an NFL team and your team picks a player, let alone a QB from the gator.... so you "have to be a fan"....

But, Im not a Colts fan and I never waver from my NEVER PICK A GATOR IN THE DRAFT THEY ARE BUSTS mantra, so.... 🤷🏿‍♂️
Wait a minute. There was Emmitt Smith and well, uh, never mind.

I know what will happen if anyone dumb enough to let him get more "experience". He'll suck.

I read his book. He should've went to Miami, but nah... then he ended up playing for the man who died to recruit him here. Emmit is just dumb asf and one of few outliers. Majority of em are busts, now don't go camping for them. Lol

Guys like Richardson crack me up. Dude wasn’t good in college, but somehow, some way, some NFL GM thought it would be a good idea to waste a (high) first round pick on him. It happens way too often really. If you’re gonna take a QB high, don’t miss. And don’t pick dudes that weren’t good in college.
It crazy. Like these idiots compare his talent to Lamar Jackson, a guy who won the Heisman and carried a mid team to a conference championship. I say it all the time give me production over potential 99 times out of 100.

Yes they’re making short term decision, not actually what is best decision for the franchise. For the franchise the best decision is obviously to give Richardson the experience to see if he can turn himself into something. If you’re going to take major swings on QBs that have talent you have to actually give them the opportunity, period.

And again I don’t think he’s good nor do I think he will end up good. But you have to try. What is even the point of going with Daniel Jones? He offers nothing long term.

If I were Colts GM I never would have signed Daniel Jones. I would have signed one of the old ****** backup ls that suck but are good in film room, like the Titans did

Disagree cut bait with that loser asap or move him to another position on offense. Spinning your wheels with that noodle head as the leader of your team and face of the franchise is asinine.

Same reason guys see a big *** and big **** and get dumb.

I closely followed them last year. He is an absolutely atrocious QB. **** of a thrower. He automatically puts you at a handicap. I bet his offensive teammates are secretly elated - even if they have to deal with Daniel Jones.

I’ve said before I feel bad for the guy. If he was drafted as a mid rounder who got to sit and learn for a couple years while the team had a few packages to utilize his physical tools like Seattle is planning with Milroe, maybe he would’ve developed.

But he was not a good qb at Florida and was always unlikely to meet the expectations they put on him by drafting him so high. And living in Indy, everybody I know has always had nothing but positive things to say about him as a person.

Not gonna knock your opinion. But after watching Danny pesos for years now what makes you say he's serviceable? By serviceable do you mean he'll run the ball and hit on some of his check downs?

Wait a minute. There was Emmitt Smith and well, uh, never mind.
I'd make the case emmit shouldn't qualify either. What serviceable running back couldn't have put up numbers on that same team? Offensive line, multiple hall of famers & consistent pro bowlers, QB hall of famer, wr hall of famer and couple consistent pro bowlers when that meant something, fb pro bowler at a position anyone would acknowledge for his job he was one of the best ever, te hall of famer... A defense stacked with hall of famers and pro bowlers... What else you need to be a running back that can stack stats... I'm not saying he wasn't good. Not just gonna blindly hate on his success. But for the people who say his stats speak for themselves, he's one of the best ever, they trippin. Put any of the people who are legit in that conversation on that team and good Lawd it would've been wild personally I think Erict Rhett when he was healthy was a better back from them Fred hands down was 10x the back.
