NFL GMs are terrible at evaluating mobile QBs.

Anthony Richardson wasn't good in high school or college, and he goes Top 5.

Lamar Jackson and Jalen Hurts were dominant players with traits, and everyone passed on them.

I'm not saying this in hindsight- I was pretty vocal on all these guys at the time because it seemed obvious. It's an imperfect science and there is a lot of variability, but this was a failure in process and logic.

You’d think where I live I’d heard about him like he was some stud. But I didn’t. All I heard was “ big athlete , that can’t play qb”. The word raw wasn’t strong enough to describe him. This was one of the easier evaluations and my opinion on him was as strong as any I’ve had on a Qb. He’s inaccurate as **** , doesn’t see the field well, depends fully on his legs and on top of that gets hurt regularly. I mean we knew all this when he was at UF yet these idiots drafted him with a top five pick.

As a colt fan, the kid has all the talent in the world, but they drafted him knowing he had like only 13 college starts. Then last year get hurts and misses most of the season. He may be a bust but give him some time to develop.

Nope.

**** that. You invest a first-round draft pick in a player, then he doesn't automatically get 3 years "to develop".

AR-15 could have "developed" during his injury year. Study the playbook, study film, get better.

Nope. AR-15 is a bust.

If he wants to give back millions and act like a 7th rounder, then he gets more time to "develop".

The crazy thing is that he’s not even a good runner. He will make some incredible runs, but he lacks instincts. Hurts was 2X the runner in college.
