Exactly.

We are not UConn.

Lashlee, in my mind, is not a premier coordinator.

Riiiight.

And the three successful years since then (1 at UConn, 2 at SMU) don't raise the grade either.

You could make this all go away by just admitting that you were w-w-w-w-wrong. You're not Arthur Fonzarelli, you can do it.

His first year at SMU was very meh.

He’s had one elite year as an autonomous OC.

Last year.

Oh, it took him TWO years, and not one year, to make SMU a top 10 offense.

Yeah, he must really suck, then.

TOO GOOD for UConn, "only" ONE elite year, and he is not good enough for Miami.

Just admit you are trying to be butt-buddies with the anti-Manny crowd.

What are you saying? In 2018 he was top 15 in both total offense and scoring offense. In 2019 he improved those!

Yeah, the Top 15 stats were in Morris' last year. The entire coaching staff turned over, and in Lashlee's first year at SMU, he was mid-pack. By year 2, he was Top 10.

“Too good for UConn and not good enough for Miami” could and should absolutely be the truth.
