Rhett doing the ACC commish’s job

I like Rhett and he is saying what every ACC coach should be saying. I can unfortunately see him at Arkansas saying the opposite, soon. I have SMU with 4 loses, 3 in the ACC. They don't have that joke of a schedule they had last season. UNC got that schedule this season. Hey, at least they are trying to promote Belichick like Deion this season before joining the SEC. We know why ESPN is doing it.

Because the ******* committee ranks Florida for what? And ranks Oklahoma for what?? Rank them correctly and let’s see the SOS. A lot of teams are going to be worse in the sec, USCe and Ole Miss specifically
How do you rank at team 'correctly' preseason...especially with the transfer portal?

Its weird that Mario had to wait for Mannys players to leave but Lashlee didn’t?
Roster full of Manny recruits < The top players that were worth a ****. Unless you're insinuating that guys like Restrepo, Arroyo, Rivers, and Kam Kinchens are the same type of player as Austin-Cave, Jaylon Knighton, or whoever we trotted out at LB after Shaq and gang left. Plus, some of those "Manny" players, were guys that Rhett knew were good.

ACC needs to start winning. Miami , Clemson and SMU --2/3 need to get in playoffs and win a game or two and then do it again next year --only then will the narrative change.
They need a DECADE OF DOMINATION.

A few years here and there aren't going to change E$PN's and FOX'$ entrenched self-interest with SEC and B1G.

Could it happen? Maybe.

Could it happen with a group of investors who create a start-up rival conference (e.g. Big 12 + ACC merger-ish)? Maybe.

Its an obvious reason why they do this... It's why you guys stay thinking the sec is so amazing. Look how many ranked teams we have lol. Not too tough to be ranked when from pre season on the media Riggs the odds. Then when Miami is 10-2 and Alabama has three losses the voters turn around and look at the rigged metrics to decide who's going to the relevant situations.

We will see what he does without Sonnys players

Lashlee inherited a putrid offense at Miami and turned into a top 26 offense in consecutive years. He already turned over a lot of the SMU roster. It was basically the University of Miami-Dallas. I think he will be just fine without Dykes players. They have a lot of money. Believe it or not, it IS possible for a coach to inherit a roster and figure out a way to make the team competitive, and then get even better as the coach recruits his own players. I know as UM fans we think that is some kind of voodoo magic but it’s surprisingly common outside of Miami.

He's right, it's rigged. And the ACC leadership is among the worst sales and marketing operations ever. The fact they're allowing SEC-ESPN to engineer this hoax is unforgivable.

Pretty impressive for a guy to take a 20 year rebuild and accomplish it in 3 years
So, we are pretending that Rhett inherited the same program that Dykes inherited? WTF? This is how I know a lot of our fans don't watch college football. Dykes finally turned the corner with SMU, and then left for TCU. Lashlee inherited a program ready to take the next step and did it. Lash is a **** good coach, but let's stop pretending that SMU was the same sad sack program they were BEFORE Dykes and to a lesser extent June Jones inherited. NIL coming online was a godsend for SMU, and they've leveraged it beautifully, along with a move to the ACC.
