What about him going back to Rosier honestly shocks you?

We're talking about the same ******* that thought it was a good idea to turn to Evan Sherieffs in the 4th quarter of a one possession game.

He panics and makes bad decisions. No idea if this happened to him at Georgia but it's happened to him here a few times already.

Or you could be a real fan, give the coach time to replace the old regime's players with his guys, not encourage fans to fly banners and other silliness, and let him do his **** job. If you read my prior posts, given red shirts I felt Randy Shannon deserved five years because that is how long it takes for a coach to rebuild a program that is down to Golden level. Players commit to universities and Universities commit to players. It is a two way street. When a University makes a coaching change, it is not like the NFL. You don't cut a player because you have benefited, legally, from certain anti-trust laws with the sports exemption. The NCAA knows that. So yeeha, it is easy to rage how much you hate coaches, how you will have to endure being drunk for years, or maybe, as a human being, you sometimes have to acknowledge that when we fired Golden, and it was totally the right thing to do, there are consequences to that decision. Meaning, it takes time for the new coach to recruit and replace mistakes from the prior regime. That is all I am saying.

I also want to say this to you. I have read your posts for years. I respect your opinion. I absolutely agree Butch should have been hired over Richt. In fact, if Richt wasn't fired by Georgia, I think the U would have been forced, by the fan base, to bring him back. I also would say I agree he deserved that chance. But at this point, despite Butch being a football God, that ship has sailed for both of us. So we can either continue *****ing about what might have been or accept the reality that Richt needs time to replace the roster. I would, and did give Butch that when he rebuilt the roster in the late 1990's. I am willing to give Richt time to do so but not too much time, and he does need to change the concept on offense. You just hate that anyone other than Butch was hired and I totally get that. But at some point, as a true fan, we need to do what is right for the program and recognize the reality of our situation. We just have to give it time and not try to destroy what is being built. I haven't seen a Canes defense like this since Butch. I think Richt can get it done but we will see. There just isn't enough junior or senior leadership on offense right now to get the job done. JMO.

First off we didn't need a rebuild. we needed an upgrade. Haven't seen any signs of that at all.

Second. It doesn't take 5 years to be successful in today's college landscape where redshirt freshman QB's are dominating all over the place.

Third. Stop making excuses for a flaccid head corch. He is a fraud and anyone who thinks this guy can take us to the promised land might as well Jim Jones themselves.

Jedi, this is a wonderful take.

I must ask, though, are you from the Star Wars film series?

I wish you the best CD, but you don't dispute any facts and just scream Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh my team isn't winning at the expectations I demand so everything else doesn't matter. I think you ought to take a good look in the mirror, argue salient points and quit this nonsense. You think there is junior or senior leadership on the team on offense? OMG it is late, I don't have the time for this nonsense but man you live in a totally delusional world. So I leave that world to you. I got a real world to live in tomorrow and I have to prepare for it. Hatred doesn't ever lead to a positive life but enjoy the hate if that works for you. I won't try to reason with you anymore. Not worth my time but it was worth a try for me. Maybe some day, you will think it is worth the time for you but we obviously have several years before that will happen. Good luck, God Bless and I am out for the night.

That coupled with immense hubris is a deadly combination.

the plays could have still ******* worked if 1) Richt didn't ******* pull Perry and put in Rosier who is complete garbage of a QB except for when he runs, and 2) The OLine didn't ******* suck so hard.

1. Rick recruited the OL and hired the OL coach.
2. Very few OLs are going to be able to hold up when the defense knows exactly what play is coming.
3. There are offensive schemes that can make it easier on the OL like what you see at Oregon.
4. 4 is the most important number. That is the number of million dollars Mark Rick gets paid to figure out how to score 30 offensive points against a P5 team. In the last 7 games against p5 teams, that has happened approximately zero times.

I used to re-watch the games to see where we went wrong; honestly, I don’t think I’ve been more frustrated watching Miami football. UVA was trying to give us the game and Richt said, I’m going to put corch u w my 30 yr old scheme!

Corching ain't easy...unless your Richt of course....

Sometimes doing what’s right for the program is call out things:

Losing to LSU, OK. Losing to FSU, I’ll take that, maybe. Losing to Clemson? Absolutely. Losing to Pitt, or UVA? Unacceptable.

I would agree w u, if the defense was struggling. U see, our problem w Golden wasn’t the offense; it was the defense. So how is it w “Golden’s” players our defense has become elite, but not the O? Furthermore, every single Jr on this team have been coached by Richt & Staff, only. The Sr’s have had 3 yrs of coaching.

How does a team full of 4 star guys continually lose to teams full of 2 and 3 stars?

And so what? We were undefeated at that point and the backup quarterback was barely a division 1 caliber athlete.

There is a time and place to make a switch, like when you have an actual VIABLE ALTERNATIVE. Benching Rosier for Sherieffs and then benching Perry for Rosier is all kinds of irony and stupidity all rolled up into one package.

Also why the **** is Mark Richt so ******* quick to Pull Perry but absolutely refuses to Pull Hayden Mahoney, Jahair Jones, etc, from the game? Like its so ******* stupid. The ******* QB has a shorter leash than the trash *** olineman with no talent you sent out there to protect him and block for the RBs that have no ******* holes all game. Its retarded.

Mahoney grades the highest (whatever that means) on the oline. Corches love him for some reason, wasnt he actually a captain for that game? There is always a player that for some odd reason corches love when they absolutely dont show the ability to play

And to add on to what “shocks” most people about rosier being put in is because the dude has been proven to be a bonafied loser after the pitt game with that smug quote, honestly I wanted to give him a chance but after all this schit talk and not being able to move the ball against savanah st, that sick Toledo comment where he told fans to stfu

I don’t know how richt thinks this dude is a better leader than Perry I mean ffs Perry doesn’t even have to say anything to be a better leader than rosier. The team hates him it’s been well documented and that mf comes out with a quote after uva saying “oh well it’s becuase I didn’t get first team reps for about 3 weeks now” mother ****ed you’ve been there for 6 years you and trayone gray are the van wilders of um football gtfo with I didn’t have first team reps, you were too busy stealing them all spring and summer.

At this point I don’t care if he is on my hurricanes team after that Toledo comment he made it on my schit list with Tito ... I could care less to what happens to them.
